Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for processing firmware based on a firmware over the air technology, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: performing check processing on at least one firmware upgrade file to form first check data; performing encryption processing on the first check data to form first encryption data; and combining the first encryption data, the first check data, and the firmware upgrade file to a firmware upgrade package, and sending the firmware upgrade package through an air interface to a mobile terminal. The apparatus includes: a checking module, an encrypting module, and a processing module. The system includes: a server and a mobile terminal. The embodiments of the present invention, by performing check, encryption, and combination processing on the firmware upgrade file, quickly implements upgrade of multiple pieces of firmware, and improves security of the mobile terminal.

Abstract: A handover method of a mobile terminal between heterogeneous networks for facilitating the handover with pre-authentication procedure is provided. A handover method between heterogeneous networks includes receiving, at a mobile terminal connected to a source network, information on at least one target authenticator of a target network from a source authenticator in response to an attach request; creating an authentication key between the mobile terminal and the target authenticator selected among the at least one target authenticator through a pre-authentication process; determining, when the mobile terminal transmits a handover request to the selected target authenticator, whether the authentication key contained in the handover request matches with the authentication key stored in the selected target authenticator; and connecting, when the authentication keys match with each other, to the target network via the selected target authenticator.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for power control enhancement are provided. One method includes retrieving, by an eNB, subframe type information in connection with uplink (UL)/downlink (DL) configuration. The method then includes simultaneously indicating, using physical layer signaling, at least one of the subframe type information and/or corresponding power control parameter set to a user equipment. In one example, the subframe type information and/or the corresponding power control parameter set may be indicated in reused bits of a transmit power command (TPC).

The clamping assembly includes a housing, a transmission gear, a first latching member, a second latching member, and an adjusting subassembly. The first latching member and the second latching member engage with the transmission gear. The adjusting subassembly includes an adjusting member, a pair of pushing members protruding from the adjusting member, and a pair of resisting members. The adjusting member defines a pair of latching grooves. The pair of pushing members is located between the first latching member and the second latching member. When the adjusting member is moved toward the second latching member, one of the pair of pushing member pushes the second latching member away from the transmission gear, and the pair of resisting members latches into the pair of latching grooves, thereby positioning the adjusting member.

For example, systems of the third generation partnership project (3GPP) long term evolution (LTE) advanced (LTE-A) may benefit from a uplink (UL) downlink (DL) configuration zero handling, particularly in cases where there is no physical hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) indicator channel (PHICH). For example, certain embodiments may be applicable to inter-band CA having different UL/DL configuration in use. A method can include triggering in a downlink subframe a first physical uplink shared channel transmission in a first hybrid automatic repeat request process. The method can also include triggering in the downlink subframe a second physical uplink shared channel transmission in a second hybrid automatic repeat request process. The secondary cell can be configured with time division duplex uplink/downlink configuration number zero.

Abstract: Provided is a method and system for supporting IMS VCC based on an MIH. In a method of supporting a multimedia service for an MIH-based VCC, neighbor network information is obtained from an MIH server periodically or according to an event trigger and scanning the neighbor network. The capacity of at least one more candidate networks is detected from the scanning results to prepare a handover. A target network is determined among the candidate networks to reserve resources and a handover command event is generated to perform a domain transfer. The handover is completed after the performing of the domain transfer.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing fast authentication for a vertical handover are provided. The method includes requesting a handover from a serving network to a target network and generating a derivative Master Session Key (MSK) for key generation, and transmitting the derivative MSK to the target network. Accordingly, a key negotiation process can start by skipping an access authentication process. Therefore, there is an advantage in that a fast authentication process can be achieved.
