    Abstract: An information handling system cylindrical housing has a front portion rotationally coupled to a rear portion with hooks that engage catches so that power and communication interfaces between the front and rear portion align. An image sensor couples in an image sensor frame in the front portion and a communication board couples in a communication board frame in the rear portion. The front and rear portions detach to ease repair with a replacement image sensor or communication board. A contactless connector disposed in the housing communicates visual image information from the image sensor to the communication board.

    Abstract: An information handling system display has a frame with magnets to couple a display panel in place by the magnets interacting with ferromagnetic material at the rear side of the display panel. Contactless connectors coupled to a scalar board in the frame and to the rear side of the display communicate visual information from the scalar board to the display panel for presentation as visual images. The display panel assembles to the frame by magnetic attraction to have the contactless connectors and power interfaces aligned. Repair of the display panel is performed by separating the display panel from the frame magnetic attraction and coupling a replacement display panel in the place of a defective display panel.

At end of life, the bio-based substrate is removed from the prepreg substrate, such as by melting of the biobased material, so that the prepreg substrate can be reused. In one embodiment, the prepreg substrate supports power and ground planes that bio-based substrates couple over so that the prepreg substrate can be reused along with the power and ground planes by coupling updated bio-based substrates over the reused prepreg substrate.

The flanges release when a press of the planar spring lock into a recess of the housing biases the flange lip away from a catch of the inner frame.

    Abstract: An information handling system keyboard, or other type of input device, detects end user input presses with plural optical switches coupled to an aluminum plate. A magnetic field proximity sensor interfaced with the aluminum plate radiates a magnetic field through the aluminum plate to detect end user proximity based upon disruptions to the magnetic field. The optical switches power down their emitters when user absence is sensed and power up the emitters when the user presence is sensed. In alternative embodiments, the aluminum plate mounting of optical switches as described above may detect press inputs at mouse buttons or joystick triggers.
