Patent number: 11953063Abstract: A normally closed disc clamp system includes a housing with a rotating disc, a brake ring and a pressure-enhancing ring arranged therein. When only a first chamber is supplied with fluid, the fluid pushes the brake ring to release the rotating disc. When only a second chamber is fed with fluid, the fluid pushes the brake ring to keep the rotating disc in the braking state, and pushes the pressure-enhancing ring to compress an elastic unit. The energy generated by the compression of the elastic unit acts on the brake ring through the fluid, so that the brake ring achieves a double pressurization effect. If the action of the fluid fails, the brake ring can still provide a braking effect to the rotating disc through the elastic unit to improve operational safety. Further, the present invention further provides a rotating table using the normally closed disc clamp system.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2021Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: HIWIN TECHNOLOGIES CORP.Inventors: Peng-Wen Chen, Chien-Yu Lin, Li-Wen Huang

Patent number: 11928038Abstract: An approach for managing data set access based on data set relevance. The approach monitors data set access activities associated with a user. The approach detects access of a first data set by the user. The approach determines a group of data sets associated with the first data set based on a data set mapping associated with the user. The approach recalls one or more data sets of the group of data sets from a slower storage device to a faster storage device.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2022Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Jing Wen Chen, Zhao Yu Wang, Peng Hui Jiang, Jing BJ Ren, Yi Jie Ma, Wen Zhong Liu

Patent number: 11727937Abstract: An online system, for example, a multi-tenant system interacts with various conversation channels, for example, various telephony services and artificial intelligence provider systems that perform artificial intelligence based analysis of conversations. The analysis of the conversation determines additional information describing the conversation, for example, sentiment of an utterance of the conversation, entities mentioned in an utterance of the conversation, intent of an utterance of the conversation, and so on. The online system stores the information describing conversations using a normalized representation that conforms to a unified conversation schema. Various applications may use the result of the analysis obtained from the AI provider systems to take further action, for example, recommend a specific workflow to an agent that is a participant in the conversation.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 2021Date of Patent: August 15, 2023Assignee: Salesforce, Inc.Inventors: Wenqing Dai, Peng-Wen Chen, Priyank Saxena

Patent number: 11563811Abstract: A scenario oriented information broadcasting system based on an Internet of Things is provided. A first electronic device provides first broadcast channels on an application and provides different first broadcast information respectively in the first broadcast channels via the Internet of Things. All or parts of contents of the first broadcast information are selected on the first electronic device based on a teaching scenario. The first electronic device identifies the second electronic device on which a user is logged into the application. After the second electronic device is successfully identified, the second electronic device can subscribe the first broadcast channel on the application, and then obtain and broadcast the first broadcast information via the Internet of Things. The first electronic device issues a subscription instruction to subscribe each of the second electronic devices, and receives a learning command from each of the second electronic devices.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 2021Date of Patent: January 24, 2023Assignee: Asia Eastern University of Science and TechnologyInventor: Peng-Wen Chen

Patent number: 11194957Abstract: Disclosed are methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable storage media for representing a portion of a user interface of a web browser as a web address. In some implementations, a computing device receives a request to encode as a web address a portion of a user interface provided in a web browser at the computing device. The computing device then generates a web address to identify content of the portion of the user interface. The portion of the user interface represented by the web address includes a primary user interface component and one or more secondary user interface components associated with the primary user interface component.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2020Date of Patent: December 7, 2021Assignee: salesforce.com, inc.Inventors: Gautam Vasudev, Peng-Wen Chen, Reddy Prasad Yerradoddi, Brett Schuenemann

Patent number: 10296289Abstract: Technology for detecting multimodal commands that enhance the human-computer interaction of a computing device. In an illustrative implementation, a computing device may receive multiple input events from a plurality of input devices. The plurality of input devices may each correspond to a different computer input modalities and the computing device may correlate the input events across different modalities. The computing device may keep the input events in their native form (e.g., input device specific) or may transform the input events into modality independent events. In either example, the computing device may determine the events satisfy a definition for a multimodal command that identifies multiple events from different computer input modalities. Responsive to the determination, the computing device may invoke the multimodal command on the client device to perform one or more computing operations.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 2017Date of Patent: May 21, 2019Assignee: salesforce.com, inc.Inventor: Peng-Wen Chen
