    Abstract: In one implementation, a computer system receives a request from a first user to perform an operation related to a file stored by the computer system. The file is associated with a second user, and the second user has shared the file with the first user with one or more conditions on the usage of the file by the first user. Based on the first user requesting to perform the operation, the computer system evaluates whether the one or more conditions placed on the usage of the file by the first user allow the first user to perform the operation. Based on evaluation results, the computer system determines that the one or more conditions placed on the usage of the file by the first user allow the first user to perform the operation and authorizes performance of the operation.

    Abstract: Fault protection circuitry and methodologies for isolated power supply topologies are provided. The circuitry is configured to shut down the primary side of the supply in case of a system fault, while keeping the secondary side circuit running, thus offering flexibility for restarting upon clearing of the fault. A lighting driver thus configured with safety isolation and a secondary side microcontroller or other control circuitry, is configured so that the circuit can shut down the primary side in response to system fault detection, while keeping the secondary microcontroller running from an energy storage circuit (e.g., bulk capacitor in parallel with load). The driver operation can resume with a controlled timing if the fault is cleared. The number of restarts may be limited, and/or a timer may be used to space restarts. The driver may be used with loads other than lighting-based loads, as will be appreciated.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for turn on optimization of a driver for one or more light sources are disclosed. A duty cycle value is selected from a table. The selected duty cycle corresponds to the target output current of the driver and has a corresponding voltage. The selected duty cycle is applied to the driver. An output voltage at the light source is measured, and compared to the corresponding voltage of the selected duty cycle to produce a voltage comparison result. Based on the comparison result, the selection of the duty cycle is adjusted. Additionally, an output current of the light source is measured and compared to the target output current, to produce a current comparison result. An adjustment coefficient is applied to a feedback circuit of the driver based thereon, wherein the feedback circuit adjusts a switching frequency of the driver based on the selected duty cycle.

    Abstract: Methods of packet-based synchronization in non-stationary network environments can include accumulating timestamps transmitted in packets between master and slave devices that are separated from each other by a packet network. Operations are also performed to determine whether first timestamps accumulated in a first direction across the packet network demonstrate that a first packet delay variation (PDV) sequence observed from the first timestamps is stationary. Thereafter, estimates of at least one of frequency skew and phase offset between the master and slave clocks are acquired using a first algorithm, from the first timestamps accumulated in the first direction. These operations of determining further include determining whether second timestamps accumulated in a second direction demonstrate that a second packet delay variation (PDV) sequence observed from the second timestamps is stationary.
