The battery includes a box, a battery cell, an electrical component, and at least one adapter member; the box has a first accommodating cavity, a second accommodating cavity, and a partition that isolates the first accommodating cavity from the second accommodating cavity; the battery cell is accommodated in the first accommodating cavity; the electrical component is accommodated in the second accommodating cavity; the at least one adapter member is disposed on the partition and sealingly connected to the partition, the at least one adapter member electrically connecting the electrical component and the battery cell. In the battery, the first accommodating cavity and the second accommodating cavity are isolated from each other to reduce the possibility of spreading thermal runaway occurring in one of the electrical component and the battery cell to the other.
