Each support tab of the plurality of support tabs is positioned between, and abuts against, support ledges of adjacent plates of the plurality of plates. Each support tab of the plurality of support tabs secures adjacent plates of the plurality of plates to each other. The battery pack further comprises a busbar electrically coupling the plurality of battery cells together.

A connector comprising a portion external to the enclosure is configured to connect the cathode terminal or the anode terminal to the plurality of layers. A coating covers an entire surface of the enclosure except for at least a portion of a surface of the first face.
