The pickup cable for a stringed instrument includes an input terminal to be inserted in a jack of the stringed instrument; a microphone to collect and convert sound of an internal space of the stringed instrument into collected-sound electrical signals; and an output terminal to output the collected-sound electrical signals. The microphone is incorporated in the input terminal.
