  • Patent number: 7217341
Abstract: The invention relates to treatment equipment, including a beam, for a paper machine. The beam (12) is equipped with a shaft (15), which has a bearing assembly (16) adapted to allow the beam (12) to pivot in relation to the bearing assembly (16) as well as move in the axial direction. The treatment equipment (10) further comprises a support device (18) and an oscillator (17). The support device (18) comprises a swing arm (19) and an actuator (20) connected thereto. In connection with the bearing assembly (16) there is an auxiliary arm (21), which is adapted free in the radial direction and locked in the axial direction in relation to the bearing assembly (16). In addition, there is a connection (22) between the swing arm (19) and the auxiliary arm (21), allowing the swing arm (19) to move in the axial direction in relation to the auxiliary arm (21) without a radial distortion of the swing arm (19). The invention also relates to similar treatment equipment without an actuator.

  • Publication number: 20060144546
Abstract: An oscillator (17) is connected to a shaft (15), which is supported freely in the axial direction, by means of bearing support (16). The arrangement comprises elements (18) for both supporting the oscillator (17) to the bearing support (16) and for connecting it to the shaft (15). The elements (18) comprise an articulated structure (19) for providing a floating support for the oscillator (17) in relation to the bearing (16).

  • Patent number: 6547932
Abstract: The invention relates to a doctor apparatus (10) in connection with a roll (T) in a paper or board machine. The doctor apparatus (10) comprises a doctor beam (12) of lightweight construction and that the doctor beam (12) is arranged to pivot on bearing means (13a1, 13a2 . . . ) (pivot movement arrow L1). In connection with the doctor beam there are loading members (14a1, 14a2), a relative linear movement taking place between the loading members (14a1, 14a2) and backup surfaces (12′, 15a′) when the doctor beam (12) is being oscillated.
