Patent number: 9307138Abstract: A method of determining a focal distance between a principal camera and a target object utilizes first and second video cameras mounted in spaced apart positions relative to a principal camera. A first video image from the first video camera is displayed on a video monitor and a second video image from the second video signal is superimposed onto the first image. First and second controllers are provided for positioning the first and second video images, respectively, on the video monitor. First and second position signals corresponding to positioning of the first and second video images, respectively, are acquired. When the images of a target object in the two video images are aligned, the position signals are used to compute the focal distance from the principal camera to the object.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2014Date of Patent: April 5, 2016Assignee: Convexity Media, Inc.Inventors: Enver Gjokaj, Daniel Raymond Long, Theodore R. Ullrich, Pepin S. Gelardi

Publication number: 20140208601Abstract: A device includes a structural housing that defines a rising chamber configured to receive a portion of a wet shaving apparatus. The structural housing is configured to house a filter, a fluid reservoir, a pump, and a set spray head. The pump defines at least a portion of a first fluid flow path between the fluid reservoir and the spray head and is configured to be activated such that a volume of fluid flows within the first fluid flow path from the fluid reservoir to the spray heads to be expelled into the rinsing chamber. The filter defines at least a portion of a second fluid flow path between the rinsing chamber and the fluid reservoir. The filter is configured to filter the volume of fluid as the volume of fluid flows within the second fluid flow path from the rinsing chamber to the fluid reservoir.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2013Publication date: July 31, 2014Applicant: ShaveSimpl, Inc.Inventors: Craig S. BATTIN, Theodore R. ULLRICH, Pepin S. GELARDI, Dean DIPIETRO

Publication number: 20100258460Abstract: A disc holder has a vacuum-formed thin tray secured to a paperboard base and cover. Ledges are formed at bottoms of paired opposite inner segmental walls. First paired opposite ledges are horizontal. Second paired opposite ledges slope upward toward the tray center. A first rosette is positioned on a tray base. A flap formed in the base is hinged along its end and extends toward the first rosette. A second rosette is positioned on the flap. Disc retainers extend inward from the segmental walls.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 25, 2010Publication date: October 14, 2010Inventors: Paul J. Gelardi, Anthony L. Gelardi, Pepin S. Publication number: 20090101529Abstract: Beverage and water bottles are recycled by flaking and melting, extruding thin RPET thermoplastic sheets thermoforming disc and product trays. The thermoformed trays have disc or product receiving wells surrounded by inner walls. Tray outer walls are surrounded by flanges to aid in separation of stacked trays before joining the trays and covers. Disc trays have resiliently deformable hubs with radially extending retaining bumps formed during or after thermoforming the trays. Product trays have similar product-retaining thermoformed bumps projected over product wells. Paperboard covers are printed outside and inside, clear coated, creased to form spines and adhered to trays with minimal, separable adhesive for recycling ease. Gutters are adhered to inner portions of spaced trays forming flexible hinges, films are attached to flanges at remote edges of tray and printed inserts are inserted between the films and trays when loading the trays and before closing the packages.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 27, 2008Publication date: April 23, 2009Inventors: Paul J. Gelardi, Anthony L. Gelardi, Pepin S. Gelardi
