Publication number: 20080158758Abstract: An over-voltage protection arrangement (1) for protecting an electric device from over-voltages, the arrangement comprising an input voltage terminal (2), to be connected to a voltage feed, and an output voltage terminal (3), to be connected to the electric device to be protected, whereby the arrangement (1) is adapted to protect the electric device from voltages on the voltage feed deviating from a predefined threshold range, the arrangement further comprising a field effect transistor (4) connected in between the input terminal (2) and the output terminal (3) so as to enable an electric connection between said terminals (2, 3). The arrangement (1) is distinguished by: at least one trigger circuit (6a, 6b) being adapted to respond to a trigger voltage, a voltage on the voltage feed deviating from the threshold range, by controlling the field effect transistor (4) to throttle the electric connection between the input (2) and output (3) terminals.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 12, 2007Publication date: July 3, 2008Inventors: Kim Salovaara, Per-Erik Andersson

Patent number: 5805569Abstract: A packet switching network having a malfunction list is provided to reduce network congestion. According to an exemplary embodiment, each node in the network includes a malfunction list which stores an unavailability value representing a state of unavailability of certain addressees in the network. Before sending a packet to an addressee, the node consults its own malfunction list to determine the unavailability value of the addressee. A packet addressed to an unavailable addressee is selectively returned to the sender by the node rather than travelling through the network to the addressee and back through the network to the sender. Packets can be returned to the sender with a probability proportional to the unavailability value of the addressee so that transmission is gradually resumed after a state of unavailability as the unavailability value decreases over time.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 1996Date of Patent: September 8, 1998Assignee: Telefonaktiebolaget LM EricssonInventors: Pontus Lindqvist, Ingvar Gustaf Andersson, Anders Henriksson, Per Erik Andersson

Patent number: 4663043Abstract: It was found difficult to carry out anaerobic treatment of peroxide-containing wastewater. According to the invention, the problem is solved in that the peroxide content of the water is reduced in a catalytic pretreatment step (1), preferably an enzymatic pretreatment step.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 1984Date of Patent: May 5, 1987Assignee: Purac AktiebolagInventors: Nils L. Molin, Thomas G. Welander, Bengt G. Hansson, Per-Erik Andersson, Bengt A. G. Olsson

Patent number: 4659471Abstract: The invention relates to a method of treating wastewater from the manufacture of peroxide bleached mechanical or chemi-mechanical pulp. The method comprises a hydrolysis step, a methane fermentation steps and an aerobic step. After the hydrolysis and methane fermentation steps, sludge is separated from the wastewater and partially recycled to the hydrolysis step. The redox potential of the outgoing water from the hydrolysis step is continuously measured and controlled to a value between -400 and -260 mV by regulating the amount of sludge recycled or by passing ingoing wastewater directly to the aerobic treating step.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 1984Date of Patent: April 21, 1987Assignee: Purac AktiebolagInventors: Nils L. Molin, Thomas G. Welander, Bengt G. Hansson, Per-Erik Andersson, Goran E. Annergren

Patent number: 4632759Abstract: At anaerobic treatment of wastewater it was found that resin and fatty acids in the wastewater have a toxic effect on the bacteria culture. According to the invention, this is solved by additions of iron or aluminium and calcium or magnesium.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 1985Date of Patent: December 30, 1986Assignee: Purac AktiebolagInventors: Per-Erik Andersson, Thomas G. Welander

Patent number: 4614587Abstract: At anaerobic treatment of wastewaters from forestry industries there is the problem, that the wastewaters contain toxically acting complexing agents. According to the invention this problem is solved by the addition of a metal selected from the group iron, calcium, magnesium and aluminum.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 1985Date of Patent: September 30, 1986Assignee: Purac AktiebolagInventors: Per-Erik Andersson, Thomas G. Welander

Patent number: 4597872Abstract: The invention relates to a method of treating wastewater from closed manufacture of mechanical or chemi-mechanical cellulose pulp, which treatment is carried out in a hydrolysis and acid fermentation step and a methane fermentation step with subsequent sludge separation and recycling of separated sludge.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 1984Date of Patent: July 1, 1986Assignee: Purac AktiebolagInventors: Per-Erik Andersson, Goran E. Annergren, Hans E. Hoglund, Per V. Peterson

Patent number: 4329199Abstract: The digestion of the cellulose-containing material is performed with a digestion liquor containing sulphur and sodium followed by recovery and regeneration of said digestion liquor and bleaching of the cellulose-containing material with chlorine dioxide. The SO.sub.2 -containing and possibly chloride-containing gas from the recovery boiler (11) of the process and from combustion of evil-smelling gases (20) is absorbed in an absorption liquor containing and alkali metal salt solution free of sulphur or sulphur compounds such as sulphide or thiosulphate, in a scrubber (27). The resulting scrubber liquor is mixed with acid residual solution (26) from the manufacture of chlorine dioxide, whereby sulphur dioxide (32) in gaseous state is returned to the process, whereafter the residual solution (34) free from SO.sub.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 1979Date of Patent: May 11, 1982Assignee: SCA Development AktiebolagInventors: Per-Erik Andersson, Fall E. Patent number: 4274911Abstract: A method of cooking cellulose material and effectively preserving the heat and terpentine content of the cooking liquor is disclosed. The cooking liquor is allowed to expand and the expansion steam (blow steam) is conveyed into a bed of cellulose material in a storage container (3', 3) to heat and impregnate the cellulose material before cooking. A heated zone is maintained in the bed of material below the surface of the bed by regulating the flow of expansion steam into the container. Uncondensed, evil-smelling and poisonous gases are at the same time prevented from flowing out into the atmosphere. These gases are drawn off from the storage container for destruction.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 1979Date of Patent: June 23, 1981Assignee: Obbola Linerboard AktiebolagInventors: Erik G. Kroneld, Per-Erik Andersson
