  • Patent number: 11015508
Abstract: Disclosed is a dosing system for a turbocharger turbine of an exhaust system for an internal combustion engine, the dosing system comprising a distribution device and a metering device. The distribution device comprises a receiving surface, and at least one distribution surface. The receiving surface is equipped to receive exhaust additive dosed to the distribution device. The distribution surface is in fluid communication with the receiving surface and is equipped to distribute exhaust additive in an exhaust stream passing through the turbocharger turbine by a rotary motion of the distribution device. The distribution device is attached to a shaft or hub of the turbocharger turbine. The metering device comprises a supply channel, a metering valve, and a dosing pipe arranged downstream of the metering valve in the direction of flow of reductant when dosing. The metering device is arranged to supply exhaust additive to the receiving surface of the distribution device.

  • Publication number: 20190072029
Abstract: Provided is a compressor arrangement in an air line supplying charged air to a combustion engine. The compressor arrangement comprises a compressor unit comprising a housing including an air intake passage, a compressor wheel arranged in said air intake passage, and an additional air passage allowing recirculation of air from the air intake passage in a position radially outwardly of a part of the compressor wheel. The additional air passage is configured to allow recirculation of air to an air conduit delivering an air flow to the air intake passage of the compressor unit.

  • Patent number: 7476211
Abstract: A device (A) can be used to create a new channel to conduct fluid from a fluid-conducting catheter to a blood vessel without contact between the device or the catheter and the blood flow in the blood vessel. The device includes an outer and an inner tube-like part; in use, the tube-like parts are joined with essentially parallel axes, The outer tube-like part has a lengthwise slit along part of its length to let part of the blood vessel enter and, with the inner tube-like part, to form the new channel. The inner tube-like part is in part to be connected to the catheter. The device may be used to connect a CSF conducting catheter to the deep neck vein of a human. Also, an applicator device and a support instrument used to facilitate a surgical procedure of applying the device are described.

Abstract: The invention concerns a device (A) that can be used to create a new channel to conduct fluid from a fluid-conducting catheter to a blood vessel without contact between the device (A) or the catheter and the blood flow in the blood essentially tube-like part (1) with a first (3) and a (4) end, and an inner essentially tube-like part (2) with a first (5) and a second (6) end. The tube-like parts are joined with essentially parallel axes and connected to each other close to the first end (3) of the outer tube-like part (1) and at the intermediate part (7) of the inner tube-like part (2). The outer tube-like part (1) has a lengthwise slit along part of its length from the second end (4) to let part of the blood vessel enter. The first end (5) of the inner tube-like part (2) is arranged to be conncted to the catheter and the second end (6) of the inner tube-like part (2) is wholly or partly surrounded by the outer tube-like part (1).

  • Patent number: 4258811
Abstract: Electric mass and force measuring apparatus which includes two force transducers, one of which provides an electrical output signal which is proportional to the gravitational force acting on the mass to be determined, and the other providing an electrical output signal which is proportional to the gravitational force of a known mass. A signal processor responds to both of the electrical output signals and provides an output signal which represents the unknown mass. The force transducers are of the type which respond only to a force component acting in a predetermined direction, and are supported in a common frame in a manner which insures that the predetermined directions of the transducers are parallel to each other. The force transducers are preferably of the beam type and include a beam which is freely deflectable at one end and rigidly secured to another beam which extends freely to the side of the first-mentioned beam, while also being shorter than such first-mentioned beam.
