  • Publication number: 20250315545
Abstract: The technology generally relates to securing end user access to application databases. An application receives a natural language query from an application end user requesting particular data from a database. The application identifies one or more tokens associated with the application end user to identify the application-specific data that is accessible to the application end user. The application provides the one or more tokens to one or more parameterized secure view elements. The parameterized secure view elements use the one or more tokens to create a virtual database that contains only the application-specific data that is accessible to the application end user. The application uses one or more machine learning models to translate the natural language query into a database query that the application uses to access the virtual database and retrieve the particular data to respond to the natural language query.

  • Patent number: 9245024
Abstract: A method, implemented on a processor, provides content segments to a first resource, the first resource having a first video. The method includes identifying and extracting contextual information from one or more second resources, the second resources having one or more associated second videos; processing the extracted contextual information in relation to a set of criteria, the set of criteria based on a content of the first video; selecting one or more content segments based on the set of criteria; and providing, to the first resource one or more of the selected content segments to be displayed with the first video.

  • Patent number: 9027917
Abstract: A puncher cylinder includes a puncher knife, the cylinder being arranged for cooperation with a paper web such that the cylinder when in use can be rolled longitudinally along and in contact with the paper web, punching holes in the paper web by way of the puncher knife. The holes are punched a longitudinal distance from each other essentially corresponding to the circumference of the cylinder. A system is further disclosed including the punching cylinder, as is a method utilizing the punching cylinder, and a newspaper partly produced by way of the punching cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20100006617
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus in a rotary stapling machine (10) which, with a stapling module (12) placed in a stapling cylinder (11), applies staples through a plurality of layers in a material web (16) running through the rotary stapling machine (10), at an interval corresponding to a predetermined cutting length (?) along the material web (16), the staples being formed by means of a stapling fork (21) in the stapling module (12) in that wire (23) is advanced to a collection position at a forming wheel (22), the wire (23) being cut off whereafter the stapling fork (21) is urged against the forming wheel (22) in order to form the staple which is thereafter collected by the stapling fork (21) and conveyed for application in the material web (16), as well as final forming against a die (15) in a die cylinder (14), wherein the stapling cylinder (11) rotates two revolutions for each cutting length (?).
