  • Publication number: 20260132768
Abstract: Controlling maximum power consumption of a power plant that includes a plurality of power generating units including a plurality of wind turbines, wherein the wind turbines are disconnected from an electrical power grid and connected to a power backup system. One operation includes setting a power consumption restriction mode of the wind turbines so that a predetermined power consuming activity is started or allowed to start, only for one selection of a plurality of selections of wind turbines of a group of wind turbines at one of a sequence of different start times or within one of non-overlapping start periods.

  • Patent number: 11916392
Abstract: Embodiments provide for the control of a power plant including several generators by setting a reference frame for the generators with a first and a second axis; measuring a grid demand voltage at the shared connection point; determining active and reactive currents required at the shared connection point based on the grid demand voltage and grid codes; transforming the active and reactive currents required at the shared connection point to the reference frame where the first axis defines a first current set point and the second axis defines a second current set point; and dispatching the first and second current set points to generator controllers associated with each generator. Current set points may be generated for positive/negative frames, direct quadrature frames, real/imaginary frames and may be set evenly for all generators or adjusted per generator.

  • Publication number: 20120305251
Abstract: A method and device for closing a well with a casing in a formation in the ground are provided. The method has the steps of moving a cutting tool down into the well; removing a longitudinal portion of the casing by cutting the longitudinal portion into pipe wall pieces; removing the cutting tool; and setting a plug against the formation in the longitudinal portion from which the casing has been removed.

  • Patent number: 7178598
Abstract: A device for a hydraulic cutting tool (30) for cutting of at least one pipe (16, 18, 20) or tubular object beneath a water floor (10), wherein the cutting is carried out from a surface facility (2). The cutting tool (30) is anchored in a pressure tight manner in the pipe (16), whereupon pressurised gas (86) is pumped into a pipe section (80) immediately below the cutting tool (30). With this, liquid (8), and eventually pressurised gas (86), will flow out of the pipe section (80) via a short drain pipe (66) through the cutting tool (30), so as to create a gas filled pipe volume (90) comprising the relevant cutting depth (32) in the pipe section (80). The invention differs from prior art by the outflowing liquid being led onwards up to the surface facility (2) via a drain line (92). The upper end portion of the drain line (92) is connected to at least one adjustable choke device (102, 104).

  • Publication number: 20060098826
Abstract: This invention relates to a system for amplifying a sound in an auditory environment. The system comprises a microphone for transforming said sound to an electric sound signal; a band-pass filtering means connecting to said microphone and outputting a filtered sound signal; and an amplifier amplifying said filtered sound signal and outputting a filtered and amplified sound signal to a loudspeaker. The band-pass filtering means comprises a passive first filter having a first bandwidth and first gain, an active second filter having a second bandwidth and a second gain larger than said first gain, and an active third filter having a third bandwidth and a third gain larger than said second gain.
