  • Publication number: 20240069114
Abstract: A method for determining the association of a sensor device with a battery unit. A first circuit includes a first battery unit. A second circuit includes a second battery unit. An electric current limiting device connects the circuits to one another. A first sensor device detects a voltage or a current associated with one of the first and second battery units while a second sensor device detects a voltage or a current associated with the other one of the first and second battery units. The method includes activating an electrical energy consumer or an electrical energy producer of the first circuit, and upon detection of a voltage change or a current change by one of the first and second sensor devices, determining that the one of the first and second sensor devices which detects a voltage change or a current change is associated with the first battery unit.

  • Patent number: 7544008
Abstract: A flanged connection and a method of fixing a gas-filled spring in a machine tool. The flanged connection includes an upper flange half and a lower flange half that can be joined together, each having a through-opening intended to receive the gas-filled spring, and a locking ring intended to secure the gas-filled spring by insertion into a groove of complementary design around the gas-filled spring and fixing between the flange halves. The locking ring is supplemented by a fixing element designed to apply a clamping force around the gas-filled spring when joining the flange halves together.

  • Patent number: 6971303
Abstract: A method and an arrangement in an energy-accumulating piston-cylinder arrangement (A) has a piston/piston rod part (2), guide/end (3) and tubular casing (1). The casing (1) is provided with a fracture or sprain mark (7) in order to initiate a controlled deformation of the casing in the event of a load that produces a stress in excess of a sprain or fracture limit, or of repeated cyclical stressing that gives rise to material fatigue, so that an excess pressure in the arrangement (A) is discharged past the deformed casing.

  • Patent number: 5383403
Abstract: An infrared drier in a sheet offset press having a low sheet discharge conveyor. The drier includes an infrared battery under which ready-print sheets are fed for drying ink fields on the sheets. The battery is situated under and adjacent to the ink rolls located in the last stand of the printing unit of the press. The battery is cooled by a cooling air system in which a supply air fan blows air into one end of the battery. The air is removed from the other end of the battery by an exhaust fan. An exhaust station is arranged under the drying position of the sheets under the battery and connected to the exhaust fan such that hot air is extracted from the ink rolls, as well as from a region adjacent the infrared battery.
