Patent number: 12025905Abstract: A camera platform track provides running surfaces for independent movement of two or more camera platforms, improves strength to weight ratio, improves torsional rigidity, restricts camera platforms from wandering during filming, and improves traction. The camera platform track includes top running surfaces for a first camera platform, and one or more lower running surfaces for additional camera platforms, allowing desired versatility in filming. The camera platform tracks include a box base and an I-beam reaching up from the base to provide strength and torsional rigidity without excessive weight. The running surface lateral spacing may vary from camera platform wheel spacing providing centering to reduce or eliminate wandering, and may include grooves to improve traction. wandering, and may include grooves to improve traction.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2022Date of Patent: July 2, 2024Inventor: Per Peterson

Patent number: 9222071Abstract: T cell responses are often diminished in humans with a compromised immune system. We have developed a method to isolate, stimulate and expand naïve cytotoxic T lymphocyte precursors (CTLp) to antigen-specific effectors, capable of lysing tumor cells in vivo. This ex vivo protocol produces fully functional effectors. Artificial antigen presenting cells (AAPCs; Drosophila melanogaster) transfected with human HLA class I and defined accessory molecules, are used to stimulate CD8+ T cells from both normal donors and cancer patients. The class I molecules expressed to a high density on the surface of the Drosophila cells are empty, allowing for efficient loading of multiple peptides that results in the generation of polyclonal responses recognizing tumor cells endogenously expressing the specific peptides. The responses generated are robust, antigen-specific and reproducible if the peptide epitope is a defined immunogen.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2008Date of Patent: December 29, 2015Assignee: Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.Inventors: Ann Moriarty, Didier J. Leturcq, Juli Degraw, Michael R. Jackson, Per A. Peterson, Marja Heiskala

Patent number: 8133726Abstract: Cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) specific for antigenic peptides derived from IgE molecule can be generated in vitro by stimulating resting naive CD8 T cells with IgE peptides presented by artificial antigen presenting cells. The IgE specific CTLs lyse the target cells loaded with IgE peptides in vitro and inhibit antigen specific IgE response in vivo. In addition, adoptive transfer of the IgE specific CTL to an asthmatic mouse model can inhibit the development of lung inflammation and airway hypersensitivity. IgE specific CTL provides a treatment for allergic asthma and other IgE-mediated allergic diseases. Antigenic peptides identified from non-tumor self-antigens induce specific cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) in vitro. The CTL induced by peptides identified from CD40L can kill activated CD4 T cells. In vitro generated CTL specific for CD40L inhibit CD4-dependent antibody responses of all isotypes in vivo.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 2010Date of Patent: March 13, 2012Assignee: Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical Corp.Inventors: Zeling Cai, Michael R. Patent number: 7993638Abstract: In a cancer treatment combining cell therapy with chemotherapy, autologous CD8+ T cells are obtained from a patient, activated ex vivo by contacting them with xenogenic antigen presenting cells loaded with selected peptide antigen, thereby generating antigen-specific activated cytotoxic T lymphocytes. Such activated CTLs are administered to the patient in conjunction with a lymphodepletion and CTL maintenance regimen comprising a non-myeloblative but lymphdepleting agent, such as cladribine or denileukin diftitox, and interleukin-2 and interferon-?-2b stimulatory cytokines.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2007Date of Patent: August 9, 2011Assignee: Janssen Pharmaceutica NVInventors: Zeling Cai, Ann Moriarty, Per A.
