Abstract: A fixing device for securing into a hole (30) in plasterboard and providing an anchor point for affixing a load to said plasterboard, the device comprising: —a body (12) configured to be retainable in said hole; and —a resiliently flexible, elongate bracing member (10) of length greater than an axial dimension of said body (12) and having an opening for receiving an external retention device (28, 128) for enabling manual retention of said bracing member (10) in a bracing position with an inner surface thereof against the rear of said plasterboard, in use, after insertion thereof through said hole (30).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system of managing communication with a set of accounts. The method includes the step of: allocating each account to a portfolio using a filter; selecting a communication strategy for each account using a set of rules for the portfolio; and managing communication with the account using the communication strategy. Historical information about the strategies used may be used in selecting a communication strategy for the account.

Abstract: The invention provides a novel form of mechanism for monitoring the rate of passage of a material dispersed in a fluid stream, which mechanism may be of use in the control of a plant for recovering the material from the fluid. The mechanism comprises means for measuring the flowrate of the fluid and means for measuring the concentration of the material in the fluid, the outputs from the two measurement means being fed to a device which gives an output proportional to the product of the signals from the measurement device, and thus proportional to the rate of passage of the material.
