  • Patent number: 12464994
Abstract: The present invention relates to resistance to Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris (Xcc) in cauliflower. According to the invention, the resistance is provided by DNA sequences, introgressed from a green cauliflower at specific loci in the genome of a white cauliflower. The introgressed sequences can be present homozygously or heterozygously in the genome of the white cauliflower, and they confer resistance to Xcc. The invention further relates to part of these cauliflowers, to seeds, to the progeny of these cauliflowers, and to method for producing cauliflowers resistant to Xcc.
    Type: Grant
