Abstract: In an emergency medical alert and response system, the method including the step of providing on a display of a communication device a plurality of individually selectable topics or medical alert choices. The method further includes the step of providing, in response to the selection of each of the plurality of topics or medical alert choices, instructions as to the proper procedure to be used in supplying initial care to a victim for the specific selected topic or medical alert choice of the plurality of topics or medical alert choices. The instructions for each of the specific selected topics or medical alert choices of the plurality of topics or medical alert choices includes step-by-step procedures for the specific selected topic or medical alert choice in simultaneous graphic and sound presentations.
