Publication number: 20160074641Abstract: The apparatus to administer a skin care composition includes a housing, a suction tip to engage the skin, a control module, a suction pump connected to a motor, a vibrator, and a power supply. The suction tip is placed on the skin with the skin care composition. The suction pump is activated to form an area of negative pressure. The vibrator generates vibrations to the area of negative pressure to further increase absorption of the skin care composition into the skin. The method of administering with the apparatus includes forming the area of negative pressure with the suction tip, and pulsing suction and suction with vibration. The control module regulates suction and vibration to maintain the area of negative pressure through personalized settings of intensity. The vibration is controlled to maintain the seal of the suction tip on the surface of skin.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2014Publication date: March 17, 2016Inventor: Pershant MEHTA

Patent number: 9167881Abstract: A container system includes a bottle body having an inner cavity and a threaded rim, an inner housing compatible with the inner cavity, a layer of a sample of contents placed between the inner cavity of the bottle body and the inner housing, a receptacle removeably placed within the inner housing and storing contents, and a lid to form a seal with the bottle body, when attached to the threaded rim. There can also be a brush attached to the lid to dispense the contents. The contents are protected from degradation due to environmental exposure, while the layer still displays features of the contents. The receptacle has a first portion and a second portion. The portions have different shapes, but are made integral into a single cavity. The single cavity resists settling of the contents and facilitates stirring of the contents for actual use.Type: GrantFiled: August 5, 2013Date of Patent: October 27, 2015Assignee: JE MATADI, Inc.Inventors: Pershant Mehta, Leo Chieh-Hao Chen

Patent number: 8074899Abstract: Make-up application systems are provided that comprise an air compressor unit, an airbrush connected to the air compressor unit, the airbrush having a gravity feed cup, and a tube connecting the air compressor unit to the airbrush. A cosmetic formulation comprising at least one mineral and water may be introduced into the gravity feed cup, which may then be aspirated into the airbrush and dispersed in a fine mist or atomized spray for delivery on a surface such as a person's skin. The system permits a more flawless make-up application finish for the face, neck and chest, and body, permitting feathering and blending not capable with traditional brush or sponge make-up application systems. Advantages are numerous and include, a more desirable appearance, longer lasting and quicker drying make-up, avoidance of harmful toxins and skin irritants, and enhanced hygienic application.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2008Date of Patent: December 13, 2011Assignee: Luminess LPInventor: Pershant Mehta
