  • Patent number: 7464472
Abstract: The invention relates to a pipe cutting apparatus, comprising a body, a cutter head (1) bearing-mounted rotatably on the body, having a centre rotation axis (C) and having a cutting gap (2) which opens radially sideways for receiving a pipe to be cut, pipe securing elements (8) for fixing the pipe on said centre rotation axis (C) immovably relative to the body, the cutter head (1) being provided with support rolls (21) for supporting the pipe during a cutting process. The cutter head (1) includes a cutting blade (22) in the shape of a sharp-edged disk, which, during rotation of the cutter head (1), is adapted to be advanced towards the centre rotation axis (C) for cutting the pipe by chipless cutting. The cutter head (1) is further provided with a shifting and locking mechanism (12-20, 28-40) for the support rolls (21), which, regardless of the diameter of a pipe to be cut, shifts and locks the support rolls (21) with a single drive and/or control against the surface of a pipe for said cutting support.

  • Patent number: 6884013
Abstract: The invention relates to a mounting and dismounting mechanism for a straightening or calibrating roller (2) rotatable about a spindle (1) and provided with a circular groove (13). The spindle (1) has its cavity (4) fitted with a pusher (9), having a tapered thrust face (9a, 9b) which shifts, as a result of the force of a spring (10), a holder element (8) from its release position to its clamping position. The holder element (8) is located in an opening present in a wall (3) of the cylinder (4). A plunger (11), associated with the pusher (9), can be used for moving the pusher against the force of the spring (10) to a position in which the holder element (8) is capable of shifting from its clamping position to its release position in which the roller is removable from the spindle (1) or mountable onto the spindle.

  • Patent number: 6427508
Abstract: An automated collar-forming drill mechanism, having the bottom end of its rotatable drive shaft (1) fitted with a tool head (2), which is driven axially back and forth by means of a piston-cylinder assembly (5-9), the drive shaft (1) extending through its piston rod (9). The axially directed operations of the tool head (2) are effected by means of a pneumatic part of the piston-cylinder assembly and a limitation to the speed of working operations is effected by means of a hydraulic part of the piston-cylinder assembly. The operating speeds upwards and downwards, as well as the reversing points for operating speeds and direction, are adjustable.

  • Patent number: 6152396
Abstract: The invention relates to a variable-force discharge mechanism for materials loaded on a reel. Some material is drawn with an external device (1) from a reel (2) around a reversing wheel (6), said reel being driven or decelerated with a discharge motor (3). In order to reduce the tensile stress fluctuations of a material (5), the reversing wheel (6) is afforded a certain displacement (A), within which a resilient assembly (7-9) produces a counter-force for a traction force (F). The counter-force produced by the resilient assembly is created by a piston-cylinder unit (7), having its gas pressure adjustable by a regulating valve (9) which sustains an adjustable, constant counter-force.
