  • Publication number: 20240243495
Abstract: An assembly for a base station antenna arrangement includes: a radio having a cover with a hole and a printed circuit board (PCB) positioned below the cover, wherein the PCB has first and second contact pads; a pogo-pin connector having a spring-loaded inner contact and an outer contact that circumferentially surrounds the inner contact, wherein the inner contact extends through the hole in the cover and engages the first contact pad of the PCB; and a gasket formed of a conductive elastomer, the gasket including a lower ring and an upper ring, wherein the lower ring is positioned in the hole in the cover and engages the second contact pad of the PCB and the upper ring engages the outer contact to establish an electrical connection between the outer contact and the second contact pad, the gasket further including a skirt that extends radially outwardly from and circumferentially surrounds the upper ring, the skirt engaging the cover of the radio.

  • Patent number: 4601106
Abstract: A vibrator attenuator, especially for a compass. The vibration attenuator is situated to prevent transfer of vibrations from the fastening base of a compass, e.g. from the framework of a boat, to the compass rose, to prevent revolving of the compass rose that results from such vibrations, and to prevent transfer of external impacts to the compass rose itself. The vibration attenuator is disposed between a supporting rod of a bearing of the compass rose, and a frame of the compass, so as to resiliently interconnect the supporting rod and frame. The vibration attenuator is preferably attached to a supporting bridge in turn affixed to the compass frame. The vibration attenuator may be an elastic member or a spring, which is attached to the supporting rod and to the supporting bridge, so that the vibration attenuator is resilient in both a vertical or longitudinal direction, and in a lateral or horizontal direction.

  • Patent number: 4250627
Abstract: Compass apparatus includes a housing defining a liquid-filled sealed interior space and a compass card member disposed within the liquid-filled space for rotation therein. The housing comprises an upper transparent cover portion having an outwardly directed first flange extending around the perimeter thereof and a lower housing portion, preferably formed of elastic material, having an annular elastic flange extending around the periphery thereof, the upper surface of the latter flange abutting against the lower surface of the first flange in liquid sealing engagement therewith. A connecting ring having a U-shaped cross section maintains the abutting flanges in sealing engagement with each other thereby providing a housing which is simple to close and which may be reopened and reclosed as desired in a manner such that the integrity of the liquid seal is not impaired. A sealing ring member may be provided between the elastic flange of the lower housing portion and the lower flange of the connecting ring.
