  • Patent number: 8279059
Abstract: An in-vivo sensing system including an in-vivo sensing device, a data recorder a receiver and a work station. The data recorder receives data signal from the in-vivo sensing device during an acquisition period. Batches of the data signal may be transmitted from the data recorder to a receiver, as soon as a batch has been received by the data recorder. The batches of data signal received by the receiver may be downloaded to the workstation as soon as each batch is received by the receiver. Signals are typically transmitted from the data recorder to the receiver through wireless transmission techniques such as cellular transmission, WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) transmission, BT (BlueTooth) transmission and Wimax (Worldwide interoperability for Microwave Access) transmission.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 1, 2007

  • Publication number: 20080262304
Abstract: A system, device and method for a real time viewing of an in-vivo site. The in-vivo sensing system may include, for example an in-vivo sensing device (4), a receiver/recorder (6), a workstation (50), a portable device (40) and/or a portable memory (60). The receiver/recorder, the workstation and the portable device may display a stream of images while still downloading images from the receiver/recorder.

  • Publication number: 20080004503
Abstract: A data recorder adapted for processing sensed data received from an in-vivo sensing device. The sensed data may be image data of images captured by an imager of the in-vivo sensing device and the processing may be image processing.

  • Publication number: 20070156016
Abstract: A system and method for detecting and recording interference in an RF communication channel for an ingestible imaging device is provided. During a period when transmission in a communication channel may be idle, interference levels may be detected and recorded. Changes in transmission levels may be altered based on the detected interference level. Transmission may be delayed due to detected levels of interfering signals.
