  • Patent number: 6754997
Abstract: A utility distribution apparatus comprises an inner wall removably mounted on an outer wall within a building structure. The inner and outer walls create a chase for air flow. A floor surface forms a generally closed corner with the outer wall. The inner wall is spaced apart from, and above the floor. One or more horizontally oriented utility conduits are supported from the floor surface or the outer wall and are positioned below the chase. A utility cover is fixed to the inner wall and extends to the floor surface for hiding the utility conduits. A lower and an upper apertures in the outer wall are positioned for receiving and expelling an air flow through the chase.

  • Patent number: 6733226
Abstract: A vehicle moving apparatus comprises a U-shaped, horizontally oriented, rigid frame having a transverse base frame joined at opposing ends thereof with spaced-apart, longitudinally oriented side frames. Frame wheels are engaged with the rigid frame for support and movement over a surface. The base frame and the side frames, together, define a vehicle space for placement of a vehicle wherein the vehicle is supported on its wheels. Each one of the side frames provides a proximal roller arm and a spaced apart distal roller arm. The arms are able to pivotally rotate between a stowed position within one of the side frames and a deployed position normal to one of the side frames. The arms are facilitated for adjustment of spacing between them, thereby enabling contact between the roller arms and the vehicle's wheels for lifting the vehicle onto the roller arms so that the vehicle may be moved to a designated location.

  • Publication number: 20040037678
Abstract: A vehicle parking method uses a multilevel building structure with plural floors, including an entry-exit floor with reception and discharge parking spaces, and storage floors with storage parking spaces for parking plural inbound motor vehicles; and an elevator having elevator spaces, the elevator adapted for moving between the floors of the building structure, and a plurality of inbound and outbound vehicle movers, each of the movers adapted for supporting and moving one of the vehicles between the floors of the building structure using the elevator.

  • Publication number: 20030042828
Abstract: A medicine cabinet provides a cabinet shell structure with bottom, top, side and rear wall panels forming an open-faced box; a hinged door adapted for closing the cabinet front face. A plurality of drawers engage a vertical hinge pin mounted from the rear wall panel, the drawers rotatable about the hinge pin from closed positions flush with the rear wall panel to open positions extending outwardly from the rear wall panel. A small appliance shelf is fixtured with an AC power socket for small appliances. A sanitization unit provides sanitization of air drawn through the unit.

  • Publication number: 20030034459
Abstract: A sanitization cabinet provides an air inlet passage mounted at a bottom panel. Air is drawn from the front of the cabinet and disbursed at the bottom interior of the cabinet. An interior surface provides a mirror finish and conformation for focusing light onto a shelf and surrounding area within the cabinet. An ultraviolet lamp is mounted within the cabinet in a position for sanitizing and heating the inlet air. An air outlet is positioned on top of the cabinet for exhausting the sanitizing air moving from bottom to top within the cabinet and which sanitizes articles within the cabinet. A timer circuit is activated when the door is opened and continues to energize the UV lamp for a set time after the door is closed.

  • Patent number: 6226942
Abstract: A building panel may be used for constructing walls, floors, ceilings or roofs. The panel has a wire frame with wire mesh surfaces on opposing sides. The interior of the frame carries a layer of insulation sandwiched between stucco or concrete exterior layers. Spaces are placed between the layers for air flow as for instance in heating or cooling the interior wall of the panel, and conduits may be encased within the insulation or in the spaces for utilities. The method of panel construction uses a grooved planar surface to hold elements of the frame while the insulation layer is sprayed into place. The wire mesh is completed after the insulation is placed and finally the stucco or concrete is placed engaging the wire mesh exterior of the wire frame to provide exterior surfaces of the panel.

  • Patent number: 6000070
Abstract: A toilet provides a traditional water filled bowl with flushing action as well as a bidet in one unit. Heated air is forced into the toilet bowl interior and directed onto bidet washed surfaces for drying. Water is directed into the bowl under pressure for flushing and for operating the bidet. The upper rim of the toilet bowl contains a channel which dispenses flush water downwardly for cleaning the interior of the toilet during flushing. Flush water is also directed from two additional outlets to provide flushing action. The toilet is fixtured for wall mounting at an adjustable height which may be changed by merely repositioning mounting bolts on a pair of vertical supports. Sewage pipes are telescoping or extendable for accommodating a vertical positioning range.

  • Patent number: 4266537
Abstract: A portable traction machine for applying a traction force to a patient via a cord. The traction force may be applied either statically for a time set by a master timer or intermittently, the force alternating between pre-set maximum and minimum force levels. The time at each force level is independently controllable. In addition, intermittent or static traction may be applied progressively, in selected increments, where the amount of each increase and the time at each force level are independently adjustable. A novel means for sensing the force level in the cord for accurately controlling such force level is also disclosed.
