  • Publication number: 20260236305
Abstract: A system or method for optimizing application and resource-level performance in a computing environment. The system accesses a deployment map that indicates the placement and interconnection of resources provisioned for an application, and analyzes application-level and resource-level performance metrics in conjunction with the deployment map to determine one or more recommended actions to improve performance. In response to identifying a need to modify the type of storage resource, the system identifies a first type of storage device with a first data access speed currently used by the application. Based on the analyzed metrics and deployment map, the system selects a second type of storage device with a different data access speed. The system provisions an amount of the second type of storage, migrates at least a portion of the data from the first type to the second type, and deprovisions the corresponding portion of the first type of storage.

  • Patent number: 12393458
Abstract: A system monitors application-level performance metrics associated with a high-performance computing (HPC) application and resource-level performance metrics associated with resources provisioned for the HPC application. The system accesses an HPC deployment map representing placement and interconnection of the resources provisioned for the HPC application, and analyzes the application-level performance metrics, resource-level performance metrics, and the HPC deployment map to determine one or more recommended actions to improve the application-level and resource-level performance metrics. The system then executes at least one of the one or more recommended actions.
