Abstract: Methods, systems, and machine-readable mediums for providing clinical appropriateness information. One system includes a server and a plurality of clinical decision support (“CDS”) systems. Each CDS system includes a portal accessible over a communication network. The server includes an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to receive input, identify a set of CDS systems, and for each CDS system included in the set of CDS systems, establish electronic communication with the portal included in the CDS system, submit a request for appropriateness information to the CDS system based on the input through the portal, and receive appropriateness information from the CDS system. The electronic processor is also configured to aggregate the appropriateness information received from each CDS system included in the set of CDS systems to generate an aggregated list and display the aggregated list on a display device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for routing image reports. One method includes receiving a completed report for the image study from a report source, establishing a unique identifier for a set of images associated with the completed report and stored in an image repository accessible through an image viewer, storing the unique identifier and an identifier of the image viewer in an image directory, and automatically creating a link associated with the completed report, the link based on the unique identifier. The method also includes identifying a report destination for the completed report, and transmitting the completed report and the link to the report destination. In addition, the method includes, when a recipient selects the link, automatically identifying the image viewer based on the image directory, and automatically providing the recipient with access to the image viewer.

Abstract: Methods and systems for pre-authorizing image studies. One method includes identifying an order for an imaging procedure requiring insurance pre-authorization, displaying the order to a first user through a user interface remotely accessible over a network connection, and receiving an assignment of the order to a second user from the first user. The method also includes displaying the order to the second user through the user interface, displaying a plurality of tasks for obtaining the insurance pre-authorization for the order to the second user through the user interface, wherein one of the plurality of tasks includes receiving a pre-authorization code for the order, and tracking, with the server, completion of each of the plurality of tasks by the second user through the user interface. The method also includes providing information regarding the completion of each of the plurality of tasks to the first user through the user interface.

Abstract: Methods and systems for ordering image studies. One method includes receiving order information for an imaging procedure from a referring physician through a user interface remotely accessible over a network connection and automatically routing the order information to a report source. The method also includes receiving order status information from the report source and making the order status information available to the referring physician through the user interface. In addition, the method includes receiving a completed report for the imaging procedure from the report source, making the completed report available to the referring physician through the user interface, and making a set of images associated with the completed report available to the referring physician.
