  • Patent number: 11577589
Abstract: An open roof assembly for use in a vehicle roof of a vehicle comprises a moveably arranged closure member for selectively covering or at least partially exposing an opening in the vehicle roof. Further, an electric motor operatively coupled to the closure member is provided for moving the closure member. A control unit is operatively coupled to the electric motor for controlling the closure member. The control unit is configured to control a position of the closure member during normal driving conditions, and to release control of the position of the closure member, when a vehicle acceleration exceeds a predetermined acceleration threshold. Thus, upon a high force on the closure member, induced by the high acceleration and weight of the closure member, damage may be prevented by absorbing the high forces in a motion of the closure member and a resistance of the electric motor.

  • Patent number: 11570757
Abstract: A computer-readable storage medium that stores instructions for execution by one or more processors of a user equipment (UE). configure the UE for NR communication. The instructions cause the UE to decode sidelink control information (SCI). The SCI includes scheduling information and priority information. The scheduling information indicates time resource assignment and frequency resource assignment for sidelink data communications using a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH). The instructions further cause the UE to detect that a transmission (Tx) of a first set of physical sidelink feedback channels (PSFCHs) would overlap in time with a reception (Rx) of a second set of PSFCHs. The first and second sets of PSFCHs include sidelink feedback control information for the sidelink data communications. The instructions further cause transmission of at least one PSFCH from the first set of PSFCHs or the second set of PSFCHs based on the priority information.

  • Patent number: 11540092
Abstract: Disclosed is a system for analyzing and optimizing conference experiences. The system may identify parameters associated with a conference between a set of User Equipment (“UEs”) used by different conference participants to access the conference. The system may compare the identified parameters to sets of parameters associated with a classification model. The system may identify, based on the comparing and the model output, a particular classification for the conference, and may calculate an impact of each conference parameter on the particular classification based on a particular parameter combination included in the model for the particular classification. The system may determine that a subset of the conference parameters has a larger impact on the particular classification than other conference parameters, may select one or more actions that are associated with the particular classification and the subset of parameters, and may perform the one or more actions.

  • Publication number: 20220353652
Abstract: A communication device for multi-radio access technology (RAT) communications includes one or more processors and a plurality of transceivers. Each transceiver is configured to operate in at least one RAT of a plurality of RATs. The processors are configured to establish connection with a second communication device using a first transceiver of the plurality of transceivers and a first RAT of the plurality of RATs. A first data stream associated with a communication link connected to the second communication device and a third communication device is receive via a convergence function at the second communication device. The communication link uses a second RAT of the plurality of RATs. A code sequence is applied to a second data stream to generate an encoded second data stream, which is transmitted to the third communication device via a second communication link established based on information received via the first data stream.

  • Publication number: 20210127364
Abstract: An apparatus of a UE includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory. To configure the UE for NR V2X sidelink communication, the processing circuitry is to decode SCI received from a second UE via a PSCCH, the SCI indicating sidelink resources from a sidelink resource pool reserved by the second UE. A set of candidate sidelink resources is determined for reservation by the UE from the sidelink resource pool is determined. The set is divided into multiple time slots and frequency sub-channels and is non-overlapping in time with the sidelink resources reserved by the second UE. A second SCI is encoded for transmission via the PSCCH, the second SCI indicating a plurality of sidelink resources from the set of candidate sidelink resources. A PSSCH is encoded for transmission, the PSSCH is encoded to include a transport block mapped across the plurality of sidelink resources.

  • Publication number: 20200404624
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured for New Radio (NR) vehicle-to-everything (V2X) (NR V2X) sidelink transmission in a fifth generation (5G) network may determine a transport block size (TBS) for transmission of a transport block (TB) within a current sidelink slot. The UE is configured to encode a physical sidelink shared channel (PSCCH) for transmission within the current sidelink slot. The PSCCH may be encoded to include sidelink control information (SCI). The SCI may indicate a reservation of physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) resources within up to three sidelink slots including the current sidelink slot 102. To determine the TBS, the UE may determine number of resource elements (REs) within the current sidelink slot 102 that are available for transmission of the PSSCH by excluding certain REs of the current sidelink slot.

  • Publication number: 20200374860
Abstract: An apparatus for use in a UE includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory. To configure the UE for 5G-NR sidelink communications, the processing circuitry is to decode sidelink control information (SCI) received from a second UE via a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH). The SCI indicates sidelink resources for transmission of a transport block during multiple transmission time intervals. A frequency resource assignment and a time resource assignment for the multiple transmission time intervals are determined based on the sidelink resources. A physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) is decoded, the PSSCH including the transport block, and received in one of the multiple transmission time intervals using the frequency resource assignment and the time resource assignment.

HARQ feedback information for the decoded PSSCH is encoded for transmission to the second UE using a PSFCH associated with the sidelink resource, based on the PSFCH indicator and a time gap configured by higher layer signaling.
