    Abstract: An apparatus for use in a UE includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory. To configure the UE for 5G-NR sidelink communications, the processing circuitry is to decode a 1st-stage SCI received from a second UE via a PSCCH. The 1st-stage SCI indicates sidelink resources including a frequency resource assignment and a time resource assignment for transmission of a transport block during multiple transmission time intervals. A PSSCH is decoded to obtain the transport block and a 2nd-stage SCI. The 2nd-stage SCI includes HARQ ACK or NACK for a prior PSSCH transmission by the UE. The PSSCH is received in one of the multiple transmission time intervals using the frequency resource assignment and the time resource assignment.

An apparatus for MEC may include a communication interface, a local cost measurements module, and a service allocation module. The communication interface may receive, from a UE, a request for a service to be provided to the UE. The local cost measurements module may collect a set of local cost measurements for the service. The service allocation module may determine to allocate the service to a MEC host based on an allocation policy related to a cost for the MEC host to provide the service or a cost for a service provider to provide the service in view of the one or more local cost measurements.     Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for monitoring the catalytic activity of an ionic liquid and for the regeneration of the ionic liquid in continuous conversion of an olefin in an alkylation. The process includes (a) providing an ionic liquid; (b) reacting a hydrocarbon mixture with the ionic liquid to obtain an ionic liquid phase. In step (d), adding an organic compound to the ionic liquid phase. In step (e), obtaining an absorption peak of a mixture from step (d) and in step (f) repeating until the absorption peak reaches a maximum or a minimum value. In step (g), determining the total amount of the organic compound or the ionic liquid phase added. Next, (h) calculating the catalytic activity of the ionic liquid. Then, (i) adding aluminium halides to the reaction of step (b) such that the activity of step (h) stays above the minimum level.

In step (g), calculating the catalytic activity of the ionic liquid based on: the total amount of the organic compound or the total amount of ionic liquid, as determined in step (f).
