  • Publication number: 20240132616
Abstract: A composition that binds to an anti-CD38 antibody includes a specific sequence of a recombinant soluble form of an extracellular domain of CD38 and/or a fragment thereof that interferes with binding activity of the anti-CD38 antibody. The composition can be included in a kit for bio-monitoring research and diagnostic assays. The composition can be used to neutralize an anti-CD38 antibody in a sample and/or to select a suitable red blood cell unit for a patient treated with anti-CD38 antibodies.

  • Patent number: 10696469
Abstract: Generally, the present disclosure relates to a carton for dispensing compressed tissue sheets comprising a carton having an oversized carton opening and a compressed stack of tissues, such as facial tissues. The compressed carton can significantly reduce costs associated with shipping such low density products. The oversized carton opening permits the compressed stack of tissues to expand, releasing the compression of the tissue stack and allowing the tissues to be dispensed normally.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 4, 2011
Date of Patent: June 30, 2020
    Assignee: KIMBERLY-CLARK WORLDWIDE, INC.
Inventors: James Alexander Hallam, Dennis Edward Fryer, Martin Christopher Bunce, Peter Booth, James Mallion
  • Patent number: 10488206
Abstract: Aspects described herein address the above noted problems by providing a way of more accurately quantifying the spatial similarity between a feature in a first map and features in one or more further maps, specifically, by quantifying the extent to which the areas surrounding the features intersect. Some aspects described herein use this similarity test to spatially resolve two or more maps to produce a composite image of a map that comprises all of the features of both maps, wherein the features common to both maps have been spatially resolved.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 22, 2017
Date of Patent: November 26, 2019
    Assignee: Ordnance Survey Limited

  • Patent number: 10442594
Abstract: Generally, the present disclosure relates to a carton for tissue products comprising a carton and an overwrapped compressed stack of tissues, such as facial tissues. The compressed carton can significantly reduce costs associated with shipping such low density products. The overwrapped compressed stack of tissues has a tear strip, which permits the compressed stack of tissues to expand, releasing the compression of the tissue stack and allowing the tissues to be dispensed normally.

  • Patent number: 9474260
Abstract: A release weight includes a weighted element having a flat bottom portion and a top portion having a connection element; an attachment hook having a first portion connected to the weighted element and a second portion connected to the first portion; and an extension element connected to the connection element. The attachment hook is passed through the jaw of the fish and the fish is placed in the body of water. The weighted element and the fish sink to the floor of a body of water, the flat bottom portion is flatly positioned on the floor, and the attachment hook is disengaged from the fish.

  • Patent number: 8371445
Abstract: A compressible package having pair of scored sidewalls, which facilitate compression of the package into a wedge shape for storage in narrow recesses. Optionally, the compressible package may include a scored bottom flap wherein the bottom portion of the sidewalls and the bottom flap are shaped such that when the carton is compressed by a user the resulting shape of the bottom flap complements the shape of the sidewalls, maintaining a substantially closed carton. Preferably the compressible package is a carton for storing and dispensing tissue and the carton assumes a wedge shape, which allows the carton to be fit into tight spaces, such as between the seat and the center console of the automobile while maintaining a substantially closed carton.
