  • Publication number: 20240095546
Abstract: This invention relates generally to classification systems. More particularly this invention relates to a system, method, and computer program to dynamically generate a domain of information synthesized by a classification system or semantic network. The invention discloses a method, system, and computer program providing a means by which an information store comprised of knowledge representations, such as a web site comprised of a plurality of web pages or a database comprised of a plurality of data instances, may be optimally organized and accessed based on relational links between ideas defined by one or more thoughts identified by an agent and one or more ideas embodied by the data instances. Such means is hereinafter referred to as a “thought network”.

  • Patent number: 9515548
Abstract: Charge pump systems and methods for the operation thereof can be configured for delivering charge to a primary circuit node. A sequential charging pattern of at least a subset of a series-connected plurality of charge-pump stages connected between a supply voltage node and the primary circuit node can be selectively initiated. For example, the sequential charging pattern can be initiated one time for every N cycles of a given clock signal, wherein N is a selectively adjustable integer value greater than or equal to 1.

  • Patent number: 6927637
Abstract: An exemplary tuning circuit is coupled to, a voltage controlled oscillator. The tuning circuit comprises a lock detect monitoring circuit, a VTUNE monitoring circuit and an autotuner circuit. The lock detect monitoring circuit is coupled to a phase locked loop of the voltage controlled oscillator and is configured to determine a state of the phase locked loop. The VTUNE monitoring circuit is coupled to a loop filter of the voltage controlled oscillator and is configured to determine the fine tuning voltage generated by the loop filter. The autotuner circuit is connected to the lock detect monitoring circuit and the VTUNE monitoring circuit and is configured to provide coarse tuning of the voltage controlled oscillator based on the fine tuning voltage and the state of the phase locked loop.

  • Patent number: 5336248
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for the treatment of or the inhibition of retinopathy of prematurity and to a method for treating or for inhibiting retinopathy of prematurity. The apparatus provided in accordance with the present invention includes a component or system for providing substantially only red light. Thus, light is provided having a wave band of approximately 612 nm or more. Furthermore, at least the patient's head is received in a device that limits the light which reaches the patient's eyes to the aforementioned red light. Thus, the patient is allowed to see substantially only red light.

  • Patent number: 5239455
Abstract: A charge pump circuit for a frequency/phase comparator in a phase locked loop oscillator arrangement, in which current sources utilizing only npn transistors provide currents of equal magnitude but of opposite sense to an input of an operational amplifier, the output of this amplifier charge-pumping a capacitor to control the frequency of oscillation of an oscillator. The use of npn transistors enables higher current levels and higher speed switching compared to circuits including pnp transistors.
