  • Publication number: 20250075731
Abstract: Provided is a method and apparatus for refining a ball joint stud. The method includes receiving and releasably securing the ball joint stud in a holder between a first die and a second die. The method further includes translating one or more of the first die and the second die towards the remaining die to apply a compression pressure to the ball joint stud. The compression pressure causes a plastic radial compression of the ball joint stud to a stroke length. The stroke length may be to induce a residual stress in the ball joint stud or increase a surface hardness of the ball joint stud. The first die and second die each include a contact surface configured to interface with the ball joint stud. The method may further include rotating one or more of the first die and the second die during the application of the compression pressure.

  • Publication number: 20250045618
Abstract: In a general aspect, calibration is performed in a quantum computing system. In some cases, domains of a quantum computing system are identified, where the domains include respective domain control subsystems and respective subsets of quantum circuit devices in a quantum processor of the quantum computing system. Sets of measurements are obtained from one of the domains and stored in memory. Device characteristics of the quantum circuit devices of the domain are obtained based on the set of measurements, and the device characteristics are stored in a memory of the control system. Quantum logic control parameters for the subset of quantum circuit devices of the domain are obtained based on the set of measurements and stored in memory.

A perfusion catheter can include an inflatable balloon, an elongate shaft operably attached to the balloon, and an optional containment structure surrounding at least a portion of the balloon. The balloon can be inflated until its outer surface contacts a wall of a blood vessel. When inflated, the balloon's inner surface defines a passage for blood to flow. The balloon can be configured to release one or more substances formulated to treat a tissue at or near the wall of a blood vessel. In an example, the balloon can include a bioactive layer, which comprises the one or more substances, overlaying an optional base layer. In an example, the balloon can include multiple filars, at least one of which is configured to elute the one or more substances through a perforation or hole in the filar.
