  • Publication number: 20140099253
Abstract: Magnetic treatment devices used in a system to enhance fuel combustion for the reduction of carbon emissions and to increase fuel efficiency. A series of uniquely constructed ferrous back plates with accompanying permanent homopolar magnetic assemblies are utilized to produce the aforementioned effect. The homopolar assemblies are field specific to the combustion fluid.

  • Publication number: 20080111656
Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying a magnetic flux to a fluid flowing through a conduit is described. The apparatus comprises a flux driver plate having a plate base and sides extending upwardly from the plate base at angles greater than ninety degrees. A plurality of permanent magnets is affixed longitudinally along the plate base between the driver plate sides to generate the magnetic flux to treat the fluid. The magnetic flux can be enhanced by the addition of a flux recircuiting receiver plate over the magnets and the flux driver plate.

  • Patent number: 7340919
Abstract: A vapor compression apparatus and a method for operating a vapor compression system are provided. A working fluid is conveyed through a vapor compression system having a fluid line. A charging element is connected to the fluid line to direct an electric charge into working fluid. The electric charge is operable to disrupt intermolecular forces and weaken intermolecular attraction to enhance expansion of the working fluid to the vapor phase, increasing the capacity, performance and efficiency of the system components, and reducing system cycling mechanical wear and energy consumption.

  • Patent number: 5829420
Abstract: A method and apparatus is disclosed for the magnetic treatment of a hydrocarbon fuel in order to achieve stoichiometric combustion. One embodiment consists of an emission sensing means, a microprocessor and electromagnet electrically inter-connected in feed back loop as to minimize the emission of carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons while maximizing the output of carbon dioxide.

  • Patent number: 4605498
Abstract: A method and apparatus is disclosed for magnetic treatment of liquids by concentrating primarily south pole magnetic fields on the liquids to provide descaling and deliming properties thereto. One embodiment of the invention generally comprises a cylindrical casing of molded plastic or the like for surrounding a pipe through which a liquid is passed. The casing includes plural magnets arranged around the periphery of the pipe in such a manner that their north poles are directed radially outwardly from the central axis of the pipe and their south poles are directed radially inwardly toward the central axis in order to concentrate the south pole magnetic fields more strongly upon the fluid. In an alternate embodiment, the orientation of the poles has been reversed such that the liquid is subjected to predominantly north pole magnetic fields.
