  • Publication number: 20180276650
Abstract: Generally described, the present disclosure relates to communications and more particularly, to a system providing relevant services to transient devices in wireless networks and methods thereof. In one illustrative embodiment, a Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) client on a device can be synchronized with a network so that the device can appear as a local entity. The UCC client can facilitate exchange of data to ease the integration of the device into the local environment. After being synchronized, the UCC client can seek out available assistance from the local network and provide it to the user. Typically, the data retrieved from the local network pertains to the current location. The local network can be used to provide wireless service to mobile devices in order to remove them from their carrier network, including providing a local breakout via a Private Branch Exchange (PBX).

  • Patent number: 10084277
Abstract: A crimp tool having jaw members joined in a tongue-in-groove connection held in place by a locking pin. Each jaw member being tapered and including weight reducing pockets defined in respective sidewalls. Each jaw member includes a locking tab on an outside edge that mates with a respective locking tab opening in the neck of the tool. When the locking pin is removed, the jaws of the tool separate and rotate away from one another until their respective locking tabs engage their respective locking tab opening, thereby holding the opened jaws in the neck of the tool.

  • Publication number: 20180201142
Abstract: An apparatus for a power system. The apparatus includes multiple electrical power sources and an enclosure operatively connected to the power sources at multiple input terminals. Multiple loads operatively connect to the enclosure at multiple output terminals by multiple cables. The enclosure includes the input terminals and the output terminals and a controller unit. Multiple selection units operatively connect to the controller unit, multiple power converters are connected to multiple connection paths. The selection units connect to at least one of multiple switches connected in the connection paths. Multiple sensor units are operatively attached to the controller unit which is configured to sense multiple parameters in the connection paths. Responsive to the parameters sensed by the sensor units, the selection units select the connection paths between the electrical power sources and the loads.

  • Patent number: 10025759
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for monitoring and detecting changes in files attached to incoming emails. In one embodiment, if files are attached to an outgoing email, the change service uniquely tags each of the attached files and optionally stores local or remote copies of the tagged files. Additionally, in embodiments, the change service monitors and intercepts incoming emails. If files are attached to an incoming email, the change service identifies whether the files are tagged in a manner unique to the compare service. The change service then matches uniquely tagged files in the incoming email to corresponding files previously tagged by the change service. The change service then compares the two documents and generates reports that identify changes in the received document in relation to the transmitted document. Further, in embodiments, the change service provides visual indicators of the changes within the email application.

  • Patent number: 10027620
Abstract: Global identifiers can be dialed from anywhere in the world. The present application relates to a call processing telecommunication system and methods thereof in a wireless network for connecting communication devices. The integrated system can resolve issues with global identification using internal identifiers. In one illustrative embodiment, the global identifiers can be registered and mapped to an internal number such that the global numbers can be used to contact individuals. When a call is placed by a communication device, the internal identifier of the calling device can be tied back to the global identifier, which then provides access to the IP address of the VoIP client to complete the call. For incoming calls, the global identifiers can be translated into an internal identifier to route the call through the network.

  • Patent number: 10009437
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to communication formats and more particularly, to media delivery by preferred communication formats. In one illustrative embodiment, communications between an originator and receiver can be converted into a format preference based on the receiver's context. The context can refer to device type, application usage, time of day, location and user role. The originator can be free to choose their desired format of communication and the recipient can be equally free to choose the best suited format to receive the message. In outgoing communications, the receiver can use their own defined format and the communications can be converted into the originator's chosen format. Media format conversion can be performed unilaterally, for example, the first person can send an email which can be translated to speech for the second person who responds by voice which can be received as voice by the first person.

  • Publication number: 20170249765
Abstract: Described in detail herein are methods, systems, and computer-readable media associated with generation of a two-dimensional image of the object including an arrangement of elements within the object. In exemplary embodiments, the system may receive input containing data related to an object. The system may extract data regarding elements associated with the object and query data regarding sub-elements associated with the elements. The system may determine an affinity based on the received data associated with the elements and sub-elements and run multiple iterations of regression models to generate a comma separated flat file containing the elements and coordinates for the elements' arrangement. The system may convert the comma separated flat file into a two-dimensional image of the object including the arrangement of the elements, while the coordinates from the flat file provide the positioning of the elements in the two-dimensional image.
