Abstract: A golf ball having a polytrimethylene ether glycol-based polymer in one or more layers of the ball is disclosed. The polytrimethylene ether glycol polymer is disclosed as being derived from polyether ester elastomers comprising a polytrimethylene ether soft segment; polyether-ester-amide elastomers comprising a polytrimethylene ether soft segment; and polyurethanes and polyurethane-ureas prepared by reaction of (a) polytrimethylene ether glycol, (b) diisocyanate, and (c) diol or diamine chain extender.

Abstract: The present invention is a composition useful for coating the surface of paper wherein the coating composition is an aqueous solution comprising less than 40 wt % water and consisting essentially of a polyvinyl alcohol copolymer that is at least about 95% hydrolyzed, and a process for preparing the same.

Abstract: Perfluoroelastomer compositions comprising perfluoroelastomers having copolymerized units of tetrafluoroethylene, a perfluoro(vinyl ether), and a nitrile-containing cure site monomer are cured with certain nitrogen-containing nucleophilic compounds. The nucleophilic compounds also act as dual curatives in perfluoroelastomer compositions which incorporate other curing agents.
