  • Publication number: 20130160203
Abstract: A segmented drain system comprises a drain body, operable to mate with a drain fitting installed in a bath or shower area, and a bonding flange body, adjustable relative to the drain body. An integrated bonding flange extends from the bonding flange body, the integrated bonding flange being operable to be sealably attached to a bondable waterproof membrane to provide a substantially water-tight seal between the membrane and the bonding flange body. A seal is oriented between the integrated bonding flange body and the drain body, the seal being operable to provide a slidable, substantially water-tight interface between the integrated bonding flange body and the drain body.

  • Patent number: 8112827
Abstract: A shower drain adapter system configured to allow use of a bondable waterproof membrane with a shower pan drain system comprises a drain body and an integrated bonding flange extending upwardly from the drain body. The integrated bonding flange is operable to be sealably attached to a bondable waterproof membrane to provide a substantially waterproof seal between the membrane and the adapter. A lower mating flange is separable from the drain body, the lower mating flange operable to mate with a component of a shower pan drain system installable on a waste pipe. The lower mating flange includes a substantially rigid frame; and a pliable gasket disposed at least partially about the frame, the pliable gasket having an inner diameter sized to correspond to an outer diameter of a portion of the drain body.

  • Patent number: 5185945
Abstract: A universal protective shield includes a central portion with three or more ingers integral with the central portion; openings located between adjacent fingers and above the sole of the foot covering to which the shield is attached, the openings permitting the fingers and the central portion to be adapted to conform to a foot covering: and screws for fastening the protective shield to a foot covering via bores located in the fingers. Flaps, attached to the fingers, diminish the size of the openings. The present invention may be adapted from a flat template or reformed to fit different shaped foot coverings.

  • Patent number: 3933390
Abstract: An attachment device for underwater salvage operations which has an elongd cylindrical body and a plurality of extendable lugs supported in one or more apertures near the tapered end of the cylindrical body. After insertion in a predrilled hole, the lugs are extended either by a spring action or mechanically by a shaft passing through the center of the cylindrical body. An external concentric collar on the hollow body supports a shackle for attachment of a cable. A scalloped handle attached to the hollow body at the end adjacent to the shackle permits the collar to be tightened down firmly against the hull after attachment to increase side load bending strength by the lift cable attached to the shackle. The end of the cylindrical body adjacent to the extendable lugs may be tapered to aid in alignment and insertion in a predrilled hole.
