Patent number: 12260943Abstract: A method for determining a defection probability includes receiving user data. The method also includes determining, from the user data, a set of features characterizing a likelihood of the user to change from the initial service channel to an alternative service channel. The method further includes generating an input encoding for the set of features. The method additionally includes determining, using a predictive model, a probability that indicates how likely the user is to change from the initial service channel, wherein the predictive model is trained to receive, as input, the input encoding and to generate, as output, a respective probability that indicates how likely a respective user is to change from the initial service channel to the alternative service channel. The method also includes determining whether the probability from the predictive model satisfies a defection threshold and selectively generating a remedial action based on the probability.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2022Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: Evernorth Strategic Development, Inc.Inventors: Alexi E. Makarkin, Jay Summers, Peter A. Rosomoff, Christopher G. Bliss, Matthew A. Hardin, Xiaojian Wang

Patent number: 12001461Abstract: A computerized search method includes receiving first input designating a first location of a first analytic. The method includes, in response to a scheduling event, obtaining a first document from the first location, identifying a first predefined label within the first document, obtaining first and second data associated with the first predefined label, storing the first datum into a value index as a current value of the first analytic, and storing the second datum into a text index as a textual description of the first analytic. The method includes presenting a search interface and, in response to receiving a search query from a user: identifying a set of result analytics relevant to the search query based on the text index and presenting, for each of the result analytics, a textual description of the analytic from the text index and a most recent value of the analytic from the value index.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2022Date of Patent: June 4, 2024Assignee: Express Scripts Strategic Development, Inc.Inventor: Peter A. Patent number: 11798669Abstract: A filling device for filling a removable medication cartridge for the smart medication dispenser is provided. The filling device includes a stationary fill plate with a plurality of openings. The openings are shaped to allow the passage of medications through the fill plate. The cartridge is removably positioned vertically below the fill plate and with the chambers of the cartridge being aligned with the openings of the fill plate. A gate is positioned vertically below the fill plate and above the cartridge. When in a closed position, the gate covers the openings from beneath the fill plate, and movement of the gate to an open position causes at least one medication to fall through at least one of the openings from above the stationary fill plate into at least one of the chambers in the cartridge prior to removal of the medication cartridge with the medications received within the chambers.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 2022Date of Patent: October 24, 2023Assignee: Express Scripts Strategic Development, Inc.Inventors: Peter A. Rosomoff, Robert E. Hoffman, Salvatore Anselmi

Publication number: 20220115105Abstract: A computer system for transforming a user interface according to multiple machine learning models includes a back-end timing circuit. The back-end timing circuit is configured to determine model selection parameters including an assigned pharmacy of a fill, a line of business, a time that a back-end system will receive the fill, a back-end processing channel, or a queuing priority, and select one of the machine learning models to generate a prediction of a back-end time indicating an amount of time to complete a set of back-end processes to prepare the fill for shipping. The back-end timing circuit is configured to determine a transit time corresponding to physical delivery of the fill to an address of a user. A notification circuit is configured to selectively produce a modification of the user interface based on a user promise date.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 8, 2021Publication date: April 14, 2022Inventors: Daniel A. Patent number: 11232399Abstract: A computer system includes a sorting device that receives a set of orders. The sorting device, for each fill of a first order of the set of orders, assigns the fill to one of a set of fulfillment devices. The computer system includes a sequence determination device configured to receive a first set of fills assigned to a first fulfillment device of the set of fulfillment devices. The sequence determination device adds the first set of fills to a first sequence corresponding to the first fulfillment device. The sequence determination device, for each fill of the first set of fills, determines a start time based on (i) a corresponding target date of the corresponding order and (ii) a priority of the corresponding order. The sequence determination device organizes the first sequence based on the start times. A forwarding device forwards the first sequence to the first fulfillment device.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2019Date of Patent: January 25, 2022Assignee: Express Scripts Strategic Development, Inc.Inventors: Kristine Calvin, Albert Wayt, Alicia Pratt, Dawn Kotva, Harish Boini, Joseph Azar, Kenneth G.
