  • Patent number: 11048823
Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method of obtaining data in a system in which share volumes of the data are dispersed across a communication network. A first computer requesting the data forwards the request to a second computer. The second computer determines if another computer has reassembled the data, and if so, responds to the first computer that the request cannot be granted. Otherwise, the second computer enables the first computer to access personal information associated only with a user of the first computer that authorizes the user to access the data. The personal information is used to determine reassembly information necessary to reassemble the data. The reassembly information is used to reassemble the data. The personal information may then be destroyed. The reassembled data is dispersed across the communication network. New personal information is created for the user.

  • Patent number: 10339073
Abstract: A computer system having reduced write latency and methods for use in computer systems for reducing write latency are provided. Processing circuitry of the computer system is configured to execute a volume filter driver (VFD) that can be switched between a fast termination (FT) mode of operations and a normal, or quiescent, mode of operations. When the processing circuitry receives input/output (IO) write requests to write data to memory while the VFD is in the FT mode of operations, the VFD causes metadata associated with received IO write requests to be written to a volume of memory while preventing actual data associated with received IO write requests from being written to the volume, thereby resulting in extremely fast FT mode operation. After the file has been written to the volume, the VFD enters the quiescent mode of operations during which the VFD passes all IO write requests to the volume.

  • Patent number: 9594580
Abstract: A system and method for securely obfuscating, storing, and transmitting digital information includes a computing device configured to parse at least a portion of one or more bit streams to form a plurality of first datasets. The computing device is configured to disperse the plurality of first datasets into multiple data blocks to form t volumes as part of a plurality of second bit streams such that m number of volumes contain a complete data set, wherein m<t. The computing device is also configured to output the t volumes to a plurality of local or distributed storage locations, such that no complete dataset is stored at a single storage location.

  • Patent number: 6076605
Abstract: A subsea wellhead assembly has a tubular housing having a sidewall, an axial bore, and a housing lateral passage extending from the bore through the sidewall. A blocking sleeve fits around the housing to block the housing lateral passage while drilling through the housing. A tubing hanger is secured to a string of tubing and landed in the housing. The tubing hanger has a vertical passage which communicates with the tubing and a tubing lateral passage which extends from the vertical passage and registers with the housing lateral passage. A lower annulus port is in the sidewall of the housing below the lower seal and leads to a tubing annulus. An upper annulus port is in the sidewall of the housing above the upper seal and leads to the bore of the housing. A tree block having a central opening for receiving the housing is lowered over the housing after removal of the blocking sleeve.
