  • Patent number: 12286708
Abstract: A system for spraying a coating material to a substrate includes an optical sensor that monitors a thickness, a controller that generates a first signal corresponding to an amount of gas propellant to be heated, a second signal corresponding to a temperature to which the gas propellant is to be heated, a third signal corresponding to an amount of a solid powder composition to be mixed with the heated gas, and a fourth signal corresponding to a distance between the nozzle and the substrate, a first regulator that supplies an amount of gas propellant corresponding to the first signal, a heater that heats the gas propellant to the temperature corresponding to the second signal, a second regulator that supplies an amount of solid powder composition corresponding to the third signal, and an actuator that moves the nozzle corresponding to the fourth signal.

  • Patent number: 11203810
Abstract: A method for fabricating an electrical conductor on a substrate by cold spraying includes propelling a solid powder composition that includes copper and highly oriented pyrolytic graphite using a gas propellant, and directing the solid powder composition towards the substrate at a velocity sufficient to cause the solid powder composition to undergo plastic deformation and to adhere to the substrate to deposit the electrical conductor thereon.

  • Publication number: 20080007763
Abstract: A method for executing a job using a remote file system that includes obtaining a plurality of job data files by the remote file system, wherein the plurality of job data files are created on the remote file system, detecting a job request for the job in an input directory to obtain a detected job request, wherein the job request is generated by a client, and executing the job based on the job data files and the detected job request, wherein executing the job generates an output file, wherein the remote file system is accessible using a local file system of the client.

  • Publication number: 20040117669
Abstract: A method of reducing the heat dissipation of a microprocessor. The method includes measuring the temperature of a location on a microprocessor and then comparing the measured temperature with a reference temperature. Based at least in part upon the comparison, the microprocessor enters into one of at least two reduced power states. The reduced power states may include states in which portions of a cache are inactivated or flushed, entire caches are disabled, microprocessor clock speeds are reduced, microprocessor core voltages are reduced, and/or page faults are generated.

  • Patent number: 4184495
Abstract: Stable cellulosic products containing releasable flavorant are described. These products are produced by impregnating a dry cellulosic substrate with an essentially anhydrous ammonia solution of a volatile flavorant and then subjecting the impregnated substrate to conditions of temperature and pressure sufficient to effect evaporation of essentially all of the impregnated solvent.
    Type: Grant
