Patent number: 10525372Abstract: A pop action toy assembly having an elastomeric body that is defined primarily by a first surface and a second surface. The elastomeric body is selectively positionable between a normal orientation, where the first surface faces outwardly, and an inverted orientation, where the second surface faces outwardly. In use, the elastomeric body is manually inverted. As the inverted body strikes the ground, the toy assembly pops from an inverted orientation back into its normal orientation. A knob is molded at part of the elastomeric body. The knob can be used to hold the toy assembly when inverted. If the toy assembly is inverted and strikes the ground, the knob act to increase the rebounding force by adding significant mass to the moving apex of the toy assembly.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2018Date of Patent: January 7, 2020Assignee: KMA Concepts LimitedInventor: Peter Alan Fish

Patent number: 10335698Abstract: A tumbling toy system where a tumble pin tumbles in a guide track. The guide track has two sides and a bottom. The two sides are a first distance apart at a first elevation height. Each tumble pin rests in the guide track and is free to tumble end-over-end. As the tumble pin tumbles, the ends of the tumble pin cyclically contact the bottom of the guide track. Each tumble pin tapers from a maximum diameter at its midplane to a minimum diameter at either end. The maximum diameter of the tumble pin is larger than the distance between the two sides of the guide track. This causes the tumble pin to cyclically contact the two sides of the guide track as it tumbles. When the tumble pin contacts the sides of the guide track, the tumble pin becomes temporarily suspended between the two sides and tumbles in place.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2018Date of Patent: July 2, 2019Assignee: KMA Concepts LimitedInventor: Peter Alan Fish

Patent number: 10286332Abstract: A toy construction set that contains a plurality of interlocking pieces. Each of the interlocking pieces contains at least one linkage construct. Each linkage construct includes a pivot hub that has a first surface and an opposite second surface. Detents are formed into both surfaces of the pivot hub. Two yoke arms are coupled to each pivot hub. Protrusions extend from the interior surfaces that are sized to be received by one of the detents. Gap spaces separate the yoke arms. Each of the gap spaces is sized to receive and retain the pivot hub of another piece, wherein the pivot hubs on all the pieces are uniform in shape and size.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2018Date of Patent: May 14, 2019Assignee: KMA Concepts LimitedInventor: Peter Alan Fish

Publication number: 20140199912Abstract: A toy figure and associated method of use is disclosed, and comprises a body portion and at least one appendage extending from the body portion. The body portion comprises a resilient portion so that a user can apply a force to cause the toy figure to transition from an unstressed condition to an actuated condition. The resilient portion is configured to return the toy figure to the unstressed condition under an inherent restorative force. The at least one appendage comprises a reconfigurable portion that includes at least two movable segments so that at least a portion of the at least one appendage can transition between a collapsed and an expanded condition. The at least a portion of the at least one appendage configured to maintain one of the first condition and the second condition until deliberately reconfigured by a user.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 14, 2014Publication date: July 17, 2014Inventor: Peter Alan Fish

Patent number: 8265692Abstract: A wristband wirelessly connects to a mobile phone allowing a user to talk on the mobile phone by using the wristband. The wristband includes a transmitter/receiver, a speaker and a microphone. The transmitter/receiver wirelessly pairs with the mobile phone. When the mobile phone receives an incoming call, a signal is sent to a vibrator housed within the transmitter/receiver and causes the wristband to vibrate. To connect to the call, a user can push a button located on the wristband or stretch the speaker piece and place the speaker in between his/her fingers. To disconnect from the call, the user can push the button or alternatively, release the speaker piece from in between his/her fingers which automatically triggers the transmitter/receiver to disconnect from the call.Type: GrantFiled: October 4, 2010Date of Patent: September 11, 2012Inventor: Peter Alan Fish

Patent number: 8241083Abstract: An toy return glider having a first sheet member with a head cover section, a wing section and a tail section disposed along a longitudinal axis, and a rear air intake duct disposed within a connecting area between the wing section and the tail section. The toy glider also has a second sheet member with a body and rudders disposed along the longitudinal axis. The body has two longitudinal fold lines parallel to the longitudinal axis, and when the second sheet member is folded upward, two first slots extend obliquely rearward and downward with the rear air intake duct cover coupled with the two first slots, and the head cover section bonds a front section of the body to form a front air intake duct. The toy glider enhances the structural strength, overall stability and life time of the glider.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2009Date of Patent: August 14, 2012Inventor: Peter Alan Fish

Publication number: 20120092736Abstract: A capsule includes a bottom portion for holding a liquid used for making bubbles, and a separate top portion. The top portion can be used to blow bubbles, where the bubble, after at least partially air drying, can be formulated to rest on a surface. The top portion also includes an aperture that houses a hologram lens. After a bubble is blown and at least partially immobilized on a surface, the top portion is placed in an optimal viewing position near the bubble. Viewing of the bubble through the lens of the top portion separates the light reflected off the bubble into a spectrum. The top portion and the bottom portion of the capsule can temporarily be attached to one another by forming a seal, by being temporarily affixed into one another. The top portion and bottom portion of the capsule can also be at least partially separated from each other.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2010Publication date: April 19, 2012Inventor: Peter Alan Fish
