    Abstract: A mixer configuration for mixing an additive with an exhaust gas stream includes at least one overflow surface which is disposed in a mixing section of an exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe has a cross section and a main flow direction of the exhaust gas stream. The at least one overflow surface is disposed centrally in the mixing section, is directed along the main flow direction of the exhaust gas stream and has a multiplicity of closed depressions. The mixer configuration permits an excellent mixture of the exhaust gas stream with an additive, without generating a high flow resistance in the process. A motor vehicle having a mixer configuration is also provided.
