Abstract: A fluid transfer system includes a fluid container to receive a liquid and an apparatus for pressurizing liquid in the container including a deformable envelope defining a space for receiving a gas. Deformation of the envelope contracts the space to a contracted condition such that, when the space includes the gas, deformation of the envelope contracts the space to effect a transfer of a portion of the gas to the container to effect pressurization of the liquid in the container. A dispensing nozzle includes a fluid passage having a nozzle inlet and outlet, and an orifice defined by a valve seat. The nozzle inlet is in fluid communication with the container for effecting a discharge of the liquid from the container. A sealing member is biased into sealing engagement with the valve seat for sealing fluid communication between the nozzle inlet and the nozzle outlet.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system for effecting transfer of liquid from a supply container to a receiving container comprising a support structure, configured to support the supply container mounting means configured for suspending the support structure at an elevated position relative to the receiving container and a fluid transfer apparatus, configured for fluid communication disposition with the liquid in the supply container when the supply container is supported on the support structure to thereby effect creation of a fluid pressure driving force for initiating flow of the liquid from the supply container, and including an outlet for effecting discharge of the liquid being flowed to the receiving container.

Abstract: An apparatus for transferring a fluid from a supply container to a desired receptacle. The apparatus includes a conduit having a fluid passage with a valve seat and a flexible containment member. A moveable sealing member is coupled to the flexible containment member and is configured for sealingly engaging the valve seat. The system is particularly applicable to bets placed in legalized bookmaking establishments, which set a line for sports betting and permit bettors to wager on either side of the line. In a preferred embodiment, the amount of win or loss increases arithmetically with the departure of the final result from the center point. The system also includes the potential for placing caps (maximums) on the win/loss multiples, and providing cushions (i.e., deviations proximate to the center point) before which the increased wins and/or losses commence.

The siphoning pump apparatus has a hollow cylindrical pump body through which liquid from one container to another can flow and a bellows attached thereto for establishing a vacuum within said pump body. The hollow pump body has a inlet pipe and an outlet an elongated flexible hose or tube connected to each of the pipes. The siphoning pump apparatus has an axially movable valve within the hollow pump body for initiating, controlling and shutting off the flow of liquid through the pump body during the siphoning process and, hence, from one container to another container. The axially movable valve has a cylindrical head at one end thereof and a connector at the opposite end thereof for fixing it to the bottom of the bellows. The axially movable valve is manually controlled by an elongated lever arm pivotally attached to a housing handle at one end and fixedly attached to the bottom of the bellows.
