  • Patent number: 11409323
Abstract: A monitoring system for monitoring delay of critical path timing margins can include a plurality of adaptive monitoring circuits, where each adaptive monitoring circuit is coupled to a corresponding one of a plurality of paths in a circuit. Each adaptive monitoring circuit can include a first delay element designed to cause a mean timing margin of the plurality of N paths in the circuit to be within one minimum mean unit delay; a second delay element coupled to the first delay element and designed to add a mean delay of k*?max; a set-up capture element capturing an output of the second delay element; and a set-up warning comparison element that outputs a set-up warning signal when the output of the set-up capture element and a shadow capture element or a capture element of the corresponding one of the plurality of paths do not satisfy an expected condition.

  • Publication number: 20220241592
Abstract: Systems and methods for enhancing muscle function of skeletal muscles in connection with a planned spine surgery intervention in a patient's back are provided. The method includes implanting one or more electrodes in or adjacent to tissue associated with one or more skeletal muscles within a back of a patient, the one or more electrodes in electrical communication with a pulse generator programmed for enhancing muscle function of the one or more skeletal muscles. Electrical stimulation is delivered, according to the programming during a time period associated with the planned spine surgery intervention, from the pulse generator to the tissue associated with the one or more skeletal muscles via the one or more electrodes, thereby improving neuromuscular control system performance of the one or more spine stabilizing muscles in connection with the planned spine surgery intervention to reduce the patient's recovery time associated with the planned spine surgery intervention.

  • Patent number: 11379152
Abstract: An apparatus comprises transaction handling circuitry to issue memory access transactions, each memory access transaction specifying an epoch identifier indicative of a current epoch in which the memory access transaction is issued; transaction tracking circuitry to track, for each of at least two epochs, a number of outstanding memory access transactions issued in that epoch; barrier termination circuitry to signal completion of a barrier termination command when the transaction tracking circuitry indicates that there are no outstanding memory access transactions remaining which were issued in one or more epochs preceding a barrier point; and epoch changing circuitry to change the current epoch to a next epoch, in response to a barrier point signal representing said barrier point. This helps to reduce the circuit area overhead for tracking completion of memory access transactions preceding a barrier point.

  • Patent number: 11363500
Abstract: Systems and methods for transitioning a call between two devices are disclosed herein. An origin device for the call is determined based on a first position of an ultra-wideband (UWB) device. A destination device for the call is then determined based on a second position of the UWB device. The UWB device sends transition commands to both the origin device and the destination device, each transition command including an identifier of the other device. Using the identifier of the origin device, the destination device connects to the call the origin device is currently participating in. When the origin device detects that the destination device has connected to the call, the origin device disconnects from the call.

  • Publication number: 20220167577
Abstract: A method of producing cannabinoids for use in medical treatments by growing cultured Cannabis sativa plant cells through tissue culture, the method comprising the steps of: selecting Cannabis sativa leaf tissue for culture; and growing a tissue culture from the selected leaf tissue in a liquid based medium whilst controlling the light exposure of the tissue culture to control the cannabinoid content of the tissue culture. Control of the light exposure can enable the phytocannabinoid content of the grown tissue culture to be tailored to the use intended for the tissue culture. For example, the THC content of the tissue culture can be controlled to be maximised or minimised depending on the intended use. Use of tissue culture is beneficial as compared to prior art methods as it allows for genetic consistency and reduces the resources necessary to produce plant cells containing phytocannabinoids.
