Patent number: 8327714Abstract: A pressure gauge comprises a pressure gauge assembly and a connecting assembly. The pressure gauge assembly includes a measuring pressure port for the pressure to be measured and the connecting assembly includes a pressure measuring port. The pressure gauge assembly is adapted to be connected to the connecting assembly. In order to permit a relative rotation between the pressure gauge assembly and the connecting assembly, the pressure gauge assembly and/or the connecting assembly supports at least one annular passage section connecting the measuring pressure port to the pressure measuring port.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 2009Date of Patent: December 11, 2012Assignee: WIKA Alexander Wiegand GmbH & Co., KGInventors: Peter Barmettler, Andreas Arnold, Alex Disler, Andreas Kolb

Patent number: 4975994Abstract: A hammock and a frame wherein the frame has a keel like shaped flexible beam formed by telescopically joined elements and sticklike supporting beam legs. The joint of the beam legs to the beam is accomplished by a bag attached to the frame having a pocket into which the end of a beam leg is inserted. The keel like shape of the frame operates so that overtensioning the flexible beam causes it to deform and function as a safety device. With such deformation of the frame, the user is lowered toward the ground.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 1990Date of Patent: December 11, 1990Inventor: Peter Barmettler

Patent number: 4951332Abstract: A hammock cot having a frame formed of a pair of U-shaped leg sets. A cradle has a center piece coupled to a rotatable bearing on the center part of each leg set. An end piece of the cradle which angles upwardly is also coupled to each bearing and each end of the hammock is fastened to the free end of a cradle end piece. A load on the hammock deflects each cradle end piece downwardly causing the bearings to rotate and bow upwardly the cradle center piece thereby reducing the force applied to the leg sets.Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 1989Date of Patent: August 28, 1990Inventor: Peter Barmettler
