  • Publication number: 20240068734
Abstract: A system for temperature-controlled transport of food on a vehicle includes food carts including an opening for ingress of air and an opening for egress of air and a refrigeration system including air ducts configured to convey pressurized air from the refrigeration unit to the food carts, including air outlets configured to interface with the food carts, air ducts configured to convey air from the food carts to the refrigeration unit, including air inlets configured to interface with the food carts, wherein the air outlets and air inlets include a spring-loaded valve configured for automatically opening when a food cart rests against the valve, and for automatically closing when said food cart no longer rests against the valve, one or more fans configured for circulating air within the air ducts, and, an ultraviolet (UV) light sterilization system located within the air ducts.

  • Patent number: 10966654
Abstract: A device (10) to be inserted in a woman's vagina to aid in measuring muscles operatively associated with the woman's vagina. The device (10) includes a motion detector (24) that is a gyroscope and that detects angular movement about at least one axis, and preferably detects angular movement about three mutually perpendicular axes. Preferably the motion detector (24) is a combination of a gyroscope and accelerometer.

  • Publication number: 20050132284
Abstract: A system and method for defining specifications for outputting content to multiple formats. More specifically, a system and method for creating a single multi-purpose stylesheet file from a single user interface, the single multi-purpose stylesheet being capable of designing multiple output media formats. For example, the multi-purpose stylesheet may convert input XML content to HTML, PDF, PostScript, WML, or other output formats. The method includes creating or modifying a multipurpose stylesheet containing formatting rules corresponding to various properties of different output media formats. The user can configure the multi-purpose stylesheet by selecting different formatting properties for different output media formats.

  • Publication number: 20050071300
Abstract: Kernels (206) for use in learning machines, such as support vector machines, and methods are provided for selection and construction of such kernels are controlled by the nature of the data to be analyzed (203). In particular, data which may possess characteristics such as structure, for example DNA sequences, documents; graphs, signals, such as ECG signals and microarray expression profiles; spectra; images; spatio-temporal data; and relational data, and which may possess invariances or noise components that can interfere with the ability to accurately extract the desired information. Where structured datasets are analyzed, locational kernels are defined to provide measures of similarity among data points (210). The locational kernels are then combined to generate the decision function, or kernel. Where invariance transformations or noise is present, tangent vectors are defined to identify relationships between the invariance or noise and the data points (222).
