  • Publication number: 20240157202
Abstract: Method and smart ball for generating an audio feedback for a user interacting with the smart ball. The smart ball comprises sensors generating sensor data representative of an interaction session of the user with the smart ball. The smart ball processes the sensor data to generate ball data, which are wirelessly transmitted to a computing device. The computing device processes the ball data to generate ball indicators (e.g. number and timing of touches with the ball; respective speed, spin and height of the ball for each touch), and further processes the ball indicators to generate performance indicators (e.g. a score or performance statistic). The computing device determines an audio feedback for the user based on at least one of the indicators, the audio feedback providing a feedback to the user on the execution of the interaction session by the user.

  • Publication number: 20150021315
Abstract: The invention relates to a combined decoupling and heating system, in particular for installing ceramic tiling using the thin bed method, having at least one anchoring layer formed from a structure element for a filler compound that is to be introduced in the area of the upper side of the decoupling and heating system and that is ductile during processing and hardens thereafter. The anchoring layer is formed at least in part of mechanically highly stressable reinforcement fibers made of a material that itself is electrically conducting or that has become electrically conductive through coatings and/or additives, whereby the reinforcement fibers can be heated up by conducting electrical current thus forming the heating layer of an electrically operable area heating system.

  • Publication number: 20080083833
Abstract: A multi-layer build-up system for floor coverings when using floor heating systems, particularly for laying ceramic floor coverings using the thin-bed method, has, on the underside, an essentially plate-shaped component for planar laying and for the accommodation of pipelines of a floor heating system. Component accommodation spaces for the pipelines are formed in the plate-shaped component and an uncoupling mat is disposed on the surface of the plate-shaped component. The uncoupling mat has an uncoupling layer on top of which an anchoring layer is disposed. The anchoring layer forms a structure element for a filler mass to be introduced in the top of the build-up system. The mass is plastic during processing and hardens afterwards. A reinforcement layer is disposed on top of and rigidly connected with the anchoring layer, at least in sections.

  • Publication number: 20070163192
Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-layer decoupling and sealing system (1), in particular for the laying of ceramic paving (10) according to a thin-bed method (12). Said system comprises a layered construction containing, from the base upwards, a liquid-impermeable sealing layer (4), an anchorage layer (2, 3) that is configured from a lattice-type structural element and that is used to hold a filler material (12), which is to be incorporated into the upper face of the decoupling and sealing system (1) and which is plastic during processing and subsequently cures, in addition to a reinforcement layer (5), which is fixed, at least in some sections, to the anchorage layer (2, 3). This improves the load-bearing capacity of the decoupling and sealing system (1) and the bonding properties of ceramic paving (10) that is laid in a conventional manner on the decoupling and sealing system (1).

  • Publication number: 20070130858
Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-layer sealing and drainage system (1), in particular for the laying of ceramic paving (10) according to a thin-bed method (12). Said system comprises a layered construction containing, from the base upwards, a drainage layer (3) that is configured from a first lattice-type structural element and comprises drainage regions (13) that are formed between the lattice structures of said element, a liquid-permeable nonwoven layer (6), an anchorage layer (2) that is configured from a second lattice-type structural element and that is used to hold a filler material (12), which is to be incorporated into the upper face of the sealing and drainage system (1) and which is plastic during processing and subsequently cures, in addition to a reinforcement layer (5), which is fixed, at least in some sections, to the anchorage layer (2). The system can also comprise a sealing layer below the drainage layer.
