  • Publication number: 20100231102
Abstract: The present invention is a mobile structure that is stowable and releasably securable to a wall or other rigid body to maximize floor space. The mobile structure preferably comprises a frame defining upper and lower ends, a work surface or pair of cabinets located on the frame and movable between deployed and stowed positions, and a plurality of legs located at the lower end of the frame. Each leg preferably terminates at a wheel or caster to enable the rolling transport of the mobile structure across a floor or other surface. To facilitate the stowable, compact capabilities of the mobile structure, at least one leg of the plurality is movable between deployed and stowed positions. An interlock assembly is also preferably located on the frame and operable to releasably secure the structure to a rigid body in a predetermined location.

  • Publication number: 20050011033
Abstract: A wiper blade is proposed, which is used to clean windows, in particular of motor vehicles. The wiper blade is arranged with a rubber elastic wiper strip (24) on the one band surface (22) of a band-like, long-stretched-out, elastic supporting element (12) and can be placed on the to-be-wiped window (14). The other band surface (16) of the supporting element is covered by another component (40) of the wiper blade (10), at least in sections, and this covering part is provided with claw-like projections (54) arranged in the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade, which grip under holding edges (38) of the supporting element. A particularly tension-neutral and easily mountable wiper blade is achieved if the covering part (40), manufactured of an elastic plastic, is provided with an armoring (60) in the area of its projections (54) whose strength is greater than the strength of the plastic used for the covering part.

  • Patent number: 5529767
Abstract: This invention is comprised of printed shaped bodies and sheets comprising gelatin or having at least an outer surface comprised of at least 5% gelatin or chemically modified gelatin, the shaped bodies and sheets being printed with ink by an ink jet. In particular, the ink applied to the shaped bodies and sheets by the ink jet contains an aluminum and/or calcium compound in addition to dyes and/or pigments, or an aluminum and/or calcium dye compound, and optionally non-volatile proportions of solubilizers and/or dispersants. Further, where the ink contains an aluminum compound, the ink is preferably adjusted to alkaline condition. The invention allows shaped bodies or sheets of gelatin to be printed with ink that is unlikely to be transferred in the form of "ghost images" to adjacent shaped bodies or sheets.

  • Patent number: 4809241
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for determining the transit time of echoes triggered by exposure of the bottom of a body of water to sonic pulses, in order to improve the echo detection in a received signal intercepted via at least one receiving lobe, particularly for mapping the surface profile of a sea bed. A temporal echo expectation window is opened up on either side of an echo expectation time, the temporal length of the window being dimensioned greater than a maximum echo length to be expected on the basis of an assumed maximum slope of the sea bed and/or a reception angle of the receiving lobe deviating from the vertical. The center of gravity integral is formed from the received signal defined by the echo expectation window, and the time component of the center of gravity is defined as the echo transit time. The echo expectation time is derived from the echo propagation at a known sounding depth.
