  • Publication number: 20220152256
Abstract: A steamer with sanitization means having a steam unit, a sanitization unit, and a shroud. The steam unit includes a reservoir, a handle, and a nozzle, wherein the nozzle is in fluid communication with the nozzle. The sanitization unit includes a light assembly and an actuation mechanism. The light assembly is configured to emit sterilizing wavelengths of light, such as ultraviolet light, and is operably coupled to the actuation mechanism, such that when the actuation mechanism is triggered, the light assembly is switched from an off state to an on state. The light assembly is integrated about the nozzle in order to emit light as steam is dispensed from the nozzle. The shroud is removably attached to the nozzle and positioned about the light assembly, such that the light is concentrated to the area of the shroud. The shroud may also be collapsible to enhance portability.

  • Publication number: 20220152234
Abstract: A garment sanitization device having a garment chamber and a sanitization unit. The garment chamber includes a first appendage, a second appendage, and a fastening mechanism. The light assembly is oriented to emit light within the garment chamber. The sanitization unit may further include a timer for regulating the amount of light exposure and a processing unit for operably controlling the light assembly. The garment chamber may further include a view port that allows the user to ensure the light assembly is in the on state.

  • Publication number: 20220030919
Abstract: A perishable storage unit with means for sanitizing food stuffs having a sanitization unit. The storage unit provides a storage body, a door, and a cooling system, wherein the cooling system is integrated with the storage body to maintain a cooling temperature when the door is in a closed position. The sanitization unit includes a light assembly and a switch, wherein the switch is integrated with a peripheral edge of the storage unit such that the door engages the switch when in the closed position. The light assembly is configured to emit sterilizing wavelengths of light, such as ultraviolet light, and is operably coupled to the switch, such that when the door is actuated from an open position to the closed position, the light assembly is switched from an off state to an on state.

  • Patent number: 10798915
Abstract: An insect resistant platform with a base assembly having a plurality of vertical posts on an upper surface that support the bottom side of a cover assembly. A sticky pad is on the upper surface of the base assembly with apertures that surround each of the posts. There is a gap between the base assembly and the cover assembly except at the posts. Any crawling insect will become captured by the sticky pad before being able to climb the posts heading toward the cover assembly. The top of the cover assembly is adapted to support an item such as a pet food bowl.

  • Patent number: 10209028
Abstract: A crossbow having a string below the barrel and an arrow rest on top of the barrel. The carriage rides in a track along the length of the barrel. A bottom side of the carriage contacts the string. The upper side of the carriage extends through the upper edge of the barrel and contacts the nock at the aft end of the arrow. The string does not contact the barrel. The string, at about a midpoint, contacts the lower side of the carriage. The string does not rub on the barrel of the crossbow so energy loss and friction damage to the string are avoided.

  • Patent number: 5927261
Abstract: The present invention is directed towards an adjustable gas cartridge mount to be used on a paint gun that utilizes a gas cartridge to propel paint pellets from the paint gun. The adjustable gas cartridge mount includes a primary bracket which is structured to be secured to the paint gun and a cartridge engagement assembly which holds the gas cartridge in an effective orientation. Specifically, the cartridge engagement assembly includes an extension segment, which is slidingly coupled to the primary bracket and extends vertically downwards from the paint gun, and a cartridge coupling bracket structured to be coupled to both the gas cartridge and to the extension segment. The mount is structured such that the position of the extension segment may be moved in a forwards or backwards manner within the primary bracket in order to facilitate an enhanced balance between the gas cartridge and the paint gun.
