  • Publication number: 20250353330
Abstract: A vehicle tire having two sidewalls, on at least one sidewall, at least one character is formed from a hatching composed of a multiplicity of ribs which run parallel to one another and which run with spacings to one another of at most 0.60 mm, wherein the character(s) is or are embedded into a sidewall portion having a background design which is composed of a smooth base surface and of elevations and/or depressions which run with spacings to one another and without intersecting and which form a hatching-like pattern. In the background design, the base surface occupies two to ten times the area covered by the elevations and/or depressions, wherein at least 50% of the elevations, and/or depressions run with spacings to one another that amount to two to five times the spacing of the ribs to one another.

  • Publication number: 20250206070
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle tire comprising a tread provided for contacting the road surface, and two sidewalls which adjoin the tread. At least one sidewall has an identifier region. The identifier region comprises a multiplicity of identifier grooves which extend in the sidewall of the vehicle tire (10). The identifier grooves have in each case one inner corrugation having a multiplicity of elongate elevations and/or depressions which in the interior of the identifier grooves run transversely to the longitudinal direction of the identifier grooves. The elongate elevations and depressions, conjointly with the longitudinal direction of the identifier grooves, include in each case an angle in the range of 20° to 90°.

  • Patent number: 8276718
Abstract: A disk brake having a brake disk, a brake caliper including a bracket, a caliper housing and a brake lining. The bracket and the caliper housing engage axially around the brake disk, with the caliper housing and the brake lining movable in an axial direction. The caliper housing has outer housing limb comprising two housing fingers which run substantially in a radial direction and which span a limb window situated between them and which is open in the direction of the rotational axis, with the housing fingers having one end section facing the rotational axis. A protective screen covers end sections of the housing fingers and conceals a section of the limb window that faces the rotational axis, with an outer dimension of the protective screen in a circumferential direction such that a transition between the protective screen and the housing fingers is substantially stepless in an axial projection.
