  • Patent number: 8347939
Abstract: A corrosion resistant intruder screen has a frame including elongate frame members (3) with a mesh (4) clamped to frame members (3). The frame members (3) each have a first holding channel (50) formed therein and a clamping portion (6) spaced from the first holding channel (50). Clamping members (7) co-act with fastening means (8) to clamp the mesh (4) between the clamping members (7) and the clamping portions (6) with leveraged clamping action. The screen includes covers (54) which are configured to be clipped to the frame members (3) and which each have a second holding channel (60) formed therein. The screen further includes a sealing assembly comprising first sealing members (51) and second sealing members (61).

  • Patent number: 7448668
Abstract: A security screen door (1) for vehicles comprises a frame (2) forming an opening, at least one sliding section (10, 12) within the frame and a quick action lever (21) on an inside of the door for locking and unlocking the door via a first lock (20). The sliding section comprises a second lock (14) for securing the sliding section in a closed position, the second lock being unlocked from an outside using a key to allow the sliding section to be moved from a closed position to an open position to allow access from the outside to the quick action lever.

  • Publication number: 20070261562
Abstract: A coffee maker comprises a pump for pressurizing water, a pump tube connected to an outlet side of the pump, and a brewing chamber which is adapted to accommodate a coffee pad. During operation of the coffee maker, the water is heated and pressed through a coffee pad in order to obtain coffee. In order for the performance of the coffee maker to be stable, it is important that a predetermined pressure is obtained in the brewing chamber. The stability of the performance is found to be dependent on a ratio between a length of the pump tube and a wavelength of a wave which is caused by the pump in the pump tube during operation. If said ratio is within a range of 0.3 to 0.7±0.5N, wherein N is an integer, the performance is stable. However, if the ratio is outside of this range, the performance is unstable.
