  • Publication number: 20250195902
Abstract: Systems to confirm authenticity of electrodes and to provide compatibility between a medical device and associated electrodes are described. An example system includes an electrode having an electrical property and an electrode connector configured to receive an electrical signal from a medical device. The example system may further include a processor configured to, upon coupling of the electrode connector to the medical device, identify a value of the electrical property of the electrode, identify the electrode is authentic by determining that the value of the electrical property is within a range of values, and output data indicating that the electrode is authentic to a diagnostic circuit configured to monitor and/or treat a patient, wherein the electrode is a component of the diagnostic circuit.

  • Patent number: 12208274
Abstract: Systems to confirm authenticity of electrodes and to provide compatibility between a medical device and associated electrodes are described. The systems include an electrode connector that stores an authentication code that is accessible to the medical device when the electrode connector is coupled to the medical device. The medical device uses the authentication code to determine an authenticity of the coupled electrodes. The electrode connector also includes physical features of a housing that allow the electrode connector to couple to different versions (e.g., older and new models) of the type of medical device. This feature allows reverse compatibility of the electrode connector to different versions of medical devices.

  • Publication number: 20240233931
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein relate to tracking indications of use for medical device accessories to track and determine end of life for the sensors as well as to enforce an end of life for various accessories. The indications of use may be tracked by a medical device to which the accessory is connected, with the accessory uniquely identified by an identifier that the medical device may associate with the indications of use. The indications of use and identity information for the accessory may be conveyed to a cloud-based system for tracking lifespan of accessories. The medical device and/or cloud-based system may determine an end-of-life based on the specific indications of use and communicate the lifespan, expiration, or expected expiration to an owner or user of the accessory.

  • Patent number: 11880717
Abstract: An apparatus includes a multi-tenant computer system including a processor and a memory operatively coupled to the processor. The apparatus receives a first service request from a first compute device and a second service request from a second compute device. Data values of the first service request are not accessible by the second compute device and data values of the second request are not accessible by the first compute device. The apparatus merges the data values of the first service request and the data values of the second service request and filters the results based on a set of rules not accessible to the second compute device to produce a first filtered result responsive to the second service request. The apparatus also filters the results based on a set of rules not accessible to the first compute device to produce a second filtered result responsive to the first service request.

  • Patent number: 11310344
Abstract: In some embodiments, a non-transitory processor-readable medium receives, from a client compute device and at a multi-tenant computer system, a service request that includes an authentication token provided by a third-party compute device and that identifies a single-tenant account (1) of the multi-tenant computer system and (2) associated with the client compute device. The medium sends an information request for first information associated with the service request to the third-party compute device. The medium receives the first information from the third-party compute device in response to the information request. The medium processes the service request based on the first information to produce a service result responsive to the service request. The medium sends the service result to the client compute device.
