Abstract: Described herein is a detector for determining a position of at least one object. The detector includes at least one sensor element having a matrix of optical sensors, the optical sensors each having a light-sensitive area, wherein the sensor element is configured to determine a reflection image of the object. The detector also includes an evaluation device configured to select a reflection feature of the reflection image, and determine a distance estimate of the selected reflection feature of the reflection image by optimizing at least one blurring function fa, wherein the distance estimate is given by a longitudinal coordinate z and an error interval±?. The evaluation device is adapted to determine at least one displacement region in at least one reference image corresponding to the distance estimate, and to match the selected reflection feature with at least one reference feature within the displacement region.

  • Patent number: 11922657
Abstract: Described herein is a detector for determining a position of an object. The detector includes a sensor element having a matrix of optical sensors, wherein the sensor element is configured to determine a reflection image. The detector also includes an evaluation device configured to select a reflection feature of the reflection image at a first image position in the reflection image, determine a longitudinal coordinate z of the selected reflection feature by optimizing a blurring function fa, and determine a reference feature in a reference image at a second image position in the reference image corresponding to the reflection feature. • Patent number: 11329510
Abstract: A system and method for providing power to independent movers traveling along a track in a motion control system without requiring a fixed connection between the mover and a power source external to the mover. In one embodiment, a sliding transformer transfers power between the track and each mover. In another embodiment, an optical transmitter transfers power between the track and an optical receiver mounted on each mover. In yet another embodiment, a generator includes a drive wheel engaging the track as each mover travels along the track. A power converter on the mover receives the power generated on and/or transmitted to the mover to control an actuator or a sensor mounted on the mover or to activate drive coils mounted on the mover to interact with magnets mounted along the track and, thereby, control motion of each mover.

A first rotary device rotates the applicator member about a first axis that is transverse to the surface. A first translation device moves the applicator member in a first linear path relative to the surface. The applicator member may include a roller and/or a resilient member. A second rotary device may rotate the applicator member and the first rotary device around a second axis substantially perpendicular to the first axis. A second translation device may move the applicator member, the first rotary device, the second rotary device, and the first translation device.
